Reminder to give the DT 1990s a shot. They are really good. Thank you friends!

Is he crying because his headphones got memed by a nigger dick loving nostax incel?

best ChiFi setup?

i too would cry if i was given a mac
also where anime girl feet?

Daily reminder solid state amps and dacs do nothing.

He's crying because he got memed into buy audiophool bs.

Hey. I'm not an audiophile. I own Marshall Monitor headphones, wired ones. I've tried Bose QuietComfort 35 II in MediaMarkt once and I was blown away. Are they overpriced? Can I find something better in this price range?

Also I have an option to buy Marshall Major II wireless very cheap, should I go with that or stick with wired Monitors?

Click-chan has arrived!
Finally got a source with no glaring flaws such as popping noise on every audio start and stop (realtek) or scratchy pot with high pitch noise added the more you turn down the volume (behringer)

I've decided that I'm gonna get D10 for now and upgrade to Dx7 once I get 007mk1

sell everything but that amp if it can take newer stax, buy a cheap ass dac. buy l700

>his onboard audio doesn't just werk.

It does if all you do is listen to music non-stop.

>appleshit

I've heard that the Lambda Nova Signature has a Warmer sound signature than L700 which is why I wanted LNS and possibly 007mk1 source friend of mine who owned both L700 and LNS

??

if you want warm still buy l700 and drink a little more of that wishky you show every time. 007 and all that "round" stax are overpriced memes.

>It does if all you do is listen to music non-stop.
I don't.

seems like one of those gaymer/streamer onions devices

What are the best akgs

You can get 007s for $1K, not bad if warm is your sound of choice. The MSRP is insane though.

702 or 712s

Explain what else the 15-pin D-sub (DE-15) can be used for.

well 1k$ seems reasonable enough

702 for a more neutral sound though it has a slightly unpleasant peak at 2k or the one i recommend more the 712

Yeah I want to get the brown and gold 007s mk1s which are supposedly the best 007 and definitely the best looking 007 but dont wanna spend so much on L700 if I dunno if I like it and know I will more than likely prefer the 007 over it
Early Production K400s in my opinion
>
007mk1 in got shape goes for around 1300-1700

insn't it possible to build an amp with a breadboard and ICs and wires and a power supply?

My brother is an electrical engineer and he has one. Very cheap looking, but it does what an am does.

Good shape* bouncing around in a dumptruck at the moment I must have mistyped

Has any of you tried the he-5?
How is it?

I'd love to see a picture for inspiration user

LOL, Stax shitphones are literally audiophool garbage

Stax incels on suicide watch

I would have to take a pic of it sometime.

What are objectively the best looking headphones?

you are not going to get that 33$ no matter how hard you try.

Try to find a place to audition the L700. Either way, both can be EQ'd to sound the way you want. Pad rolling the 007 can be fun too, I put ZMF universe pads on mine. Can't really do too much with the L700.

fucsia painted hd600 with cat hear strapped on the headband

What about the k7xx

DT 1990, Phillips fidelio x2

more expensive version of the 702, with no real benefits.

Personally I really want the 007 because they look really comfy and they match my amp and room aesthetics
Well I've never heard the kxx but I do have the k701 and I personally think they are too harsh around the 3-6khz range but some people don't mind but my K400 sounds pretty good once you throw some K701 or similar angles pads on there they are just right

My stax is dusty from years of not using them, what do I do? Is it safe to use compressed air to blast any dust off? Too scared to plug into my amp.

Which stax?

The one that came with 252s, 207 I think?

207 but I think 307 as well as 202 came with them but they should be fine they have a fairly good dust protection system the only ones you have to worry about are the og lambdas fron the 80s and late 70s plug them in and see what happen since the air could damage them

>tfw HD600 master race

All stax are objectively garbage, don't waste your time

Dust is not much of an issue with newer stax, sunlight on the other hand, can still fuck them

>dust, humidity, sunlight
no wonder stax are obsolete

Please check your reading comprehension as I've already received an answer you troll :^)

Could you please fill in the form that's found in the op to make a recommendation request? Will makes things alot easier. Thanks Hans.

Sunlight can fuck any headphone with a membrane exposed lol

>t. triggered stax incel

w2c affordable display cases or something? wouldn't mind repurposing upside down fish tanks either, it's just that they always want like 40 bucks even for the smallest models

Ikea kallax

Sorry you cant read but he already answered and I had already given him an answer
Also post pictures once you have them hooked up so we can trigger this nostaxer

And then the display insert without the glass shelf or what?

Might just buy one of these guys for 70 bucks, it's pretty inconspicuous.

What are you wanting to put in it user? Mine works well for me

Attached: 20181113_182309.jpg (4032x3024, 3.95M)

We're in the headphone thread, someone's complained about dust, it gave me an idea, what do you think I'd be wanting to put in it? I mean, maybe not exclusively, but that was the kinda train of thought here.

Ah I see well this is what I'm using till I get my stax stand and cover

Ear speakers general

Last thread some fostex autist uses his detolf for his headphones.

Greenpill me on stax. If you had to put a number from 1 to 100%, how but better is it than hd600 or dynamic headphone in the 300 dollar range. 5%, 10%, 30%? Greenpill me.

1000

Three Detolfs apparently. I think you could fit two pairs of cans on each level though. Single cans look classier but it seems like a bit of a waste of space.

Somewhere on the minus range. They are worse than mid-fi dynamics

What stand is that for the 507s

Yup, that’s the one. Pretty dedicated autist hue.
I wonder what is in his bottom section?

Looks really nice. Now if only the guy could afford proper headphones.

What do I go if I want the soundstage of akg but a more balanced sound in the HiFi range

It's a Japanese made weebphone renowned for being incredible that even appears in an anime I don't know what more it has to do to entice you to buy it. It's not an onahole but it's close enough

never happened unless you mean stupid pictures off the internet. Also you didn't answer the question from 1-100%. i feel like 90% of the stax poster here don't even have stax and is just pretending by posting someone else stax image.

you could have just asked politely

hd58x + save 50 for an onahole

nobody in their right mind would buy expensive shrink wrap

I'm a non audiophile and recently I tried out a friend's modded sennheiser hd 800 and audeze LCD2C. I was blown away by them. The lcdc were really fun to listen to, but the sennheisers were comfier/lighter on the head and vocals sounded just amazing on them. The lcds had better bass on the other hand. If I enjoyed the hd800 more, what kind of entry level 'good' headphone would you recommend me around the 200 euro mark? I'm willing to buy an amp, as I will be using them at home, also higher comfort would be a priority. I'm in Europe and I don't mind buying used, my friend showed me how to look around on head-fi. I'm considering several headphones: the sennheiser hd 600 family of headphones; the akg k701; beyerdynamic dt990; hifiman he4xx as well as the monoprice m1060. Which ones of these would you recommend I drop from consideration? What would you guys think I should consider in addition to these around the same price mark? Also what are the cheap amp solutions and how much would I be missing out if bought one of these headphones and used them without an amp?

I hate you headphone autists/fashion drones but I turn to you in need of help. Im looking for waterproof bluetooth headphones that I can use in the pool and that wont get damaged from being submerged a few feet in water for short periods of time. Do swimmers use these?

Attached: LawsonPS.png (814x686, 686K)

yeah get stax

Ohhhh yeah

Attached: 20181218_181443.jpg (4032x3024, 3.79M)

how would you even connect those to your bluetooth?
you would have to have like a swim band on with the bluetooth device in question because 10ft range, and you would have to have like fucking ear pro that has electronics that work underwater
basically this is your best bet
amazon.com/Waterproof-Headphones-Swimming-Surge-Short/dp/B01AKSQCRQ/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1545174932&sr=8-3&keywords=swimming earbuds

If you value vocals I would drop all except hd600. Dont even consider beyerhiss dt990. Akg k702, not k701, if anything, they are very cheap in eu but not as good as hd600. Hd579 if you want to go full budget.

I've been thinking about getting custom iems for a while now and jerry harvey is offering 15% off for the holidays, and when you're spending over $1k on something 15% ends up being hundreds of dollars off. Do I do it /hpg/?

im considering pretending to be a trap just so i can hook up with cute guys like u
