That's not how the supply or the demand works. The actual reason why it should be illegal (and by the same line of argumentation so should lolicon or 3DCG) is because it increases the prevalence of pedophilia in society, which in turn also increases the number of cases of children getting hurt (although to what extent and in what way are debatable).

Actually the evidence is pretty clear. In adult context, more access to legal porn and fast internet results in lower rates of rape. Likewise, when legal options of child porn is available, rates of child molestation goes down

I personally think it's a mix of both. Some people are born extremely likely to become pedos or murderers (yet never go on to actually become one due to miraculously lucky circumstances), whereas some people are born extremely UNlikely (but end up becoming one all the same due to gradually being exposed to a long chain of unfortunate events). Same goes for being gay or having certain mental illnesses.
