It's better than Firecucks because: >no ugly dotted focus outline >styled scrollbars that don't stick like a sore thumb like native ones >audio/video calls (WebRTC) works as expected on Slack, Skype, etc >all sites works as expected >saves passwords and cookies in Gnome keyring by default so all your sensitive data is stored encrypted >has patch to enable hardware accelerated video decoding on Linux
>using webRTC Do you actually want your IP leaking all over the place? No one in their right mind leaves that shit unblocked, same with using ipv6. Don't tell me you're browsing the web without a VPN user
Sebastian White
translation: >don't tell me you are not a pedo user?

>why do you care about your personal data being harvested by every single place you visit user? Don't tell me you have something to hide!

>slow >proprietary >default bookmarks >gimmicks no one ever uses >0.05% market share Literally shit
anyway, its not worth using any browser Google potentially has control over. That includes ungoogled-chromium. Google is constantly finding ways to surreptitiously sneaking malicious code into Chromium so that even their competitors are locked into their ecosystem.
The only logical solution is something like qutebrowser or Mozilla. As unhappy as I have been with Mozilla, I would rather trust them because I believe they tend to be misguided, whereas Google is just blatantly evil.
short answer: use FF with custom config, or an FF fork like IceCat
are you seriously not using fde in 2018? if you are, the keyring brings you no extra benefit
Dylan Diaz
With minimal effort you can amend every negative you've listed. Firefox is the power user's browser, Chrome is for people that want something which "just werks" and don't care about customizability.
Landon Watson
>qutebrowser >qtwebengine >basically ungoogled Blink >you yourself claim ungoogled is still googled nogger are you serious?
Ayden King
didn't know that. stay away from qute then. its not worth infecting yourself with Google tech
Luke Lopez
They don't care what you are doing, just that they can profile you and profit from their dossier.
>*Phones home to Firefox* >*user is too retarded to set up Ungoogled Chromium
My goodness, can we get some Ungoogled Chromium appreciation in here too, boys? It's the browser of Gods. >Contains everything great about Google, like the comfy layout and quick speed >Contains nothing bad about Google, like the intrusive spyware or bloat that eats up RAM
Eli Martinez
You can't use extensions because you'd have to manually update them all.
Zachary Ward
What do you mean? You can. I'm using extensions right now and see absolutely no problem with any of them.
Camden Roberts
don't forget >backdoor for law enforcement agencies
Isaac James
They're not updating
Dominic Mitchell
IcaCat with their LibreJS freetard reeing, is a little too autistic for me. I'm gonna stick with Ungoogled Chromium.
Samuel Davis
>unironically defending spyware
Zachary Evans
I like ungoogled chromium, extensions work fine, and auto-updating aka letting someone else control your software is for beta cucks.
I know, you would think these mozzarella firecucks shills would mention the post install hundred step process to debotnet instead of literally just recommending mozilla firefox malware.
