What do anons use to activate Windows? I used KMSauto before but it doesn't work with Winblows anymore.
I paid for a license and then the shitty drive died. I re-installed the system from an Enterprise iso and extracted the Windows key from the BIOS.
The shit Windows activator won't accept the original key prolly because it's a different SKU. It turns out the origial system was Pro.
The only way the shitty OEM recovery tool allows me to install a system with the original key is if I erase all the data. I already started using the new system.
Srsly Microsoft is a pain in the ass, they make it so that you buy the license over and over.
Just install Linux, what the fuck do you even need Windows for?

Microsoft Toolkit still works, I think. There's also a hot new thing called hwidgen which abuses Microsoft's online activation system - apparently it can just be tricked into giving you a license for free.

Because I have shit that only runs on Windows and Wine doesn't cut it. I really hate Microsoft, they are worse then Facebook. I use mostly debian-based GNU/Linux, sometimes MacOS but that's just a version of BSD.

I had reinstaled windows and changed the main drive at least 3 times on the same key, since the w10 beta. Every fucking time it auto activated using the same key, no problem. I don't know what trickery those silicon valley jews are using, but they sure avoided me paying $7 for a Pro key multiple times

hwidgen is pretty much the standard for win10 generation OS's. All versions of 10 including ltsb and ltsc, server 2016 and 2019, etc. It supports a few different methods. The HWID method only works for consumer editions. KMS38 method works for everything. Neither need to be run more than the first time or install or modify system files.
