Github, Gitlab, or Bitbucket?

Which one do you use and why?

Github doesn't allow you to have private repos

it's Microsoft Github Professional Edition you dip

Github for public stuff because that's where all my stars are. My own VPS for private repos.

Gitlab

Gitlab for some shitty projects that I want to keep private.
Github for some shitty projects that I want to be public.

notabug.org for everything
mostly because "muh freedumbs"

Dumb question, why do you prefer having a VPS for your private repos over gitlab or bitbucket?

Gitlab for serious stuff

GitGud for meme projects

autism

GitLab (both 'official' one and self-hosted instances)

i use git on a private server for work.
i use github for public stuff because it's what normies know about.

Yeah it does

nice

Your own gitea spin.

Github or Gitlab, local machine or own remote VPS for more serious projects, never touch Bitbucket since it's Attlasian, which is an aussie company (ausland made it legal for gov to force devs to silently but backdoors in all encrypted services, fuck that noise).

I mean, free private repos

I use all 3 of them. Bitbucket for professionnal stuff. I already have a discord bot setup to grab bitbucket webhooks. Gitlab for personnal projects (public or private). Github for college.

>LMAO CUMBUCKET
I don't see a reason why I should not use Github

You think the Australian government gives a fuck about your react.js to-do list app?

fossil

Gitgud because I'm not allowed to say NIGGERS on github :'(

ShitHub for stuff I want public. Bare repos on a Raspberry Pi for private stuff. No need for a web interface if you're managing private repos.

>"wahhh the developers should let me use their work for free!"
let me guess: you are a millennial who uses Linux and you consider yourself a Berniebro, aren't you?
