I'm still running 1080p@60Hz displays and until they break I won't upgrade them

I never go above 2.5GB VRAM usage in games and games still look and run good enough for my usage.

VR is pushing it to its limit though for me with my Vive however. It's the only reason why I'm slightly considering upgrading. I haven't pulled the trigger yet because the games I've been playing run fine enough to not cause motion sickness.

I got my $30 lawsuit settlement money last year, spent it on a nice dinner.

Crossfire is mostly useless. Besides that, it always all comes down to money. 580 are of good value now, but two together loses to a single Vega in all games but strange brigade.

Running a 970 with a 1440P monitor at 60hz. Keeps everything pegged a max refresh. Waiting for 1070's to go down a bit more before upgrading.

Went from a 680 2gb to a 1060 6gb, honestly only gta 5 on ultra needed more vram. This card is more energy efficient though and I got it for $230.

i have an rx580 8gb, it's way more than i need. it's nice to have though.

I got the 3gb model. It's enough for me. Monster Hunter World, FFXIV, Emulators, and more don't even break 3gb. Plus I got it overclocked to 2075 boost core and 4404 memory clock which makes it on par or better than the factory OC 1060 6gb's.

multi gpu is pretty much dead for consumer use now, no idea why retards are still doing it when multi gpu scaling sucks ass.

Running a mini version (I think it's a Gigabyte) in my HTPC with Manjaro as the OS. The framrate in Borderlands - The PreSequel is shit compared to a GTX 970 on Windows. Drivers probably ... IDK

The 1050 is for losers. You put it in a laptop to play fortnight on low.

The 1050ti is the premier ultra poorfag choice. It's also the only thing you want in a gaming laptop, because anying else gets nuclear hot and drains power.

The 1060 is good because it's almost an exactly equal price/performance increase over the 1050ti. You get what you pay for when you spend the extra cash. The 1070 and up give you less performance for money.

honestly, it was really straight forward, and for the amount of years + performance its given me I was okay with it either working great again or losing it. gotta say the thermal paste after 3+ years and close to constant 90c made it super black and crumbled

Yeah, it's fine as far as I'm concerned. I don't game as much as I used to though nor do I tend to play games with bleeding edge graphics very often so it's pretty rare I'm ever pushing the card that hard, most of the time I'm not really pushing it at all.

I have no plans to upgrade within the next 2-3 years probably assuming everything continues to work normally.
