clone the disk to an iso file then upload it

open the txt files with gedit or nano

type 'file becky.txt'

that'll tell you what kind of file it is, linux doesn't care about the extension

there's no burden, that isn't cp, normies usually encrypt their porn because they are ashamed if someone sees the things they fap to.
that doesn't work on NTFS, NTFS doesn't use Unix permissions

also, it's easier to recover data from a physically destroyed harddrive than an overwritten one

Check the permissions from ubuntu
Use a GUI file manager (thunar, nautilus, etc.) right click on a file, check the owner, group and permissions. If you cant access it with that, then from CLI ls -l FILE.
If that fails, make an ISO of it
sudo dd if=/dev/sdX of=file.iso
then see if you can access the files from the iso.
If all that fails, then there's probably a hardware encryption on the hard drive. Only way to really get around that is to either physically open the hard drive and locate the chip with the encryption and figure out how to disable it, or, if you're just wanting to use it and want to make sure no cp is on it and is gone, then use dban which writes over everything with a 0.

No where does it say it's NTFS. Besides NTFS is POSIX-compatible, just doubled checked.
