stax iems

what are your favorite tips?

Attached: Presentation1.jpg (958x482, 43K)

there's a difference between silicon and silicone

you don't like putting silicon in your ears?

small/medium silicone or foam, never tried inverted flange.

and you should buy this

Attached: final e3000.jpg (1366x800, 167K)

i really like those final audio tips, they fit a lot nicer in my ears than most other tips i've tried

yeah. I can't get sure if their whole pivot system works, I can't feel it and I can't look at them when they're in. that said, no matter how I stick them in and even wiggle them around the sound is always good. I've had IEMs where I had to sit them so carefully in my ears to get a decent seal. especially since one of my ears is shaped slightly differently. the pivot thing is actually the only thing advertised as a feature on the box, no mention of the warm/neutral tuning which is the whole point of them.

Anyone know what these are?

Attached: prx5dm47jy521.jpg (747x767, 79K)

the ones that are layered, like one bigger one and then a smaller one over the latter. It's longer but it goes into my ears better

that's a nigger

ety eardildos?

more like ear anal-hemispheres if you know what I mean

Atheism, am I right?

Are the KZ ZS3s good IEMs to get for a first-time buyer coming from Skullcandy Smoking Buds 2?

they are $12 does it even matter?

Sure but you might as well spend more and get the ZSNs or even better, the TRN V80s.

Mh755

not mh370

Is kz foam any good?
i want hybrid tips, that is has silicone outer and foam inner, whattobuy?

do the different colored foam tips actually feel any different if you get the cheap chinese ones? i would assume no but i don't want to get chinked.

there are symbio w tips, i don't know about a cheap chink hybrid if you wanted that

>Is kz foam any good
I've heard otherwise.

Don't buy it, it's a mistake buying those because they have no rubber inside, thus they don't hold on on IEMS.

my ZS5s and Tin T2s sound pretty much the same to me
is this normal?

How about sony triple comfort?

mmm, learnt this the hard way when they came off my zs6's and got stuck in my ear
a tiny dab of glue should hold it though and is easy to clean off if you change your mind later

Definitely no. Try to listen critically.

Also the same case with a guy that can't tell sonic difference between shp9500 and hd600.

wait mine are ZS6 actually. Does that change things? idk they both sound good

They're both terrible so it's hard to tell

I'm way below a beginner when it comes to audio stuff.

Are the HAVIT G1 good / worth it?
If not, and if possible could anyone recommend something cheaper but better?

Attached: DjwsHUeWwAEo6W8.jpg (1200x675, 52K)

try with most familiar soung you've heard.

also Harman How to Listen is good app for training your critical listening skill. works on wine.

Any recommendations for wireless IEM's? I'm considering either the OnePlus Bullets wireless and the Jaybird X2/X3.

op, this is serious.
are we here only talk to proper "in ear monitor", or we talk anything about personal listening device like in ear phones, earbuds, wireless, also dap?
state that on the next new thread.

because nobody using earpods in stage.

not op but I guess we can talk about all of these. We arent going to make a general for everything and its all somewhat related to IEMs.

Recs for iemg’s for running? Sub ~£80

Also, include /hpg/ style form for asking recommendation.

mh755, with original bluetooth adapter.

Are the kz zs10 any good? Thinking of replacing my pistons hybrid.

Their fit most likely troublesome.

Maybe we aught to rename it /PAG/ Portable Audio General

agree.
maybe renaming the general is not necessary, but description is.

I want to take a moment to thank the niggers in this thread. Just picked up some KZ AS10's, and they're the first pair of headphones/iems i havent regreted buying since my HD 600's 3 years ago.
Thanks for exposing me to this chink shit

14mm etymotic yellow foam tips are superior

Attached: 1519900946837.jpg (1240x652, 93K)

Anyone used these? For the price they look good

Attached: jlab-jbuds-air.jpg (1000x594, 67K)

I've used their other Bluetooth model with the cable and I can tell you they work.
Battery life is decent. But they sound like arse.
I've gone back to wired and gave those to a friend.

These look sweet.
Never purchased anything on Mass drop though.
Loving my TRNig v80's
Perfect nigbass and clarity mix.
Would recommend for hip hoppers like me

Forgot pic but yeah I love rocking these at work. The ear bends are nice, cable is decent quality, and they aren't so expensive that I would care to use them at my job. Only complaint is a personal one where my ear is shaped so it rubs the left housing.

Banned from posting pics for some reason.

ID these

Attached: mpv-shot0001.jpg (1920x1080, 155K)

Sony something or other.

The jaybirds x3 fit like shit in my ear

How’s the bass on those? They’re an all BA set right? Is it comparable to the HD600?

>I want to take a moment to thank the niggers in this thread. Just picked up some KZ AS10's
Glad you actually forked over a little cash and got the best KZ instead of trying to get big sound out of the $10 KZs.

The only iem you can compare to hd600 mid and treble is etymotics, mh755/n3, possibly re400 and n5005

oh hey so did i
they come in 7-15 business days, i'll ask you again in 2 weeks about how you think about them and I'll do the same

its the shittiest of kz's

Sony MDR-EX150.

i'm so glad i didn't buy them for 60 when they first came out
i knew from how fucking huge they were that they were going to have quality issues

Picked up Campfire Audio Lyra IIs from Massdrop around Black Friday, on sale for $350. They sound really good, just soooo bassy (which I like, but this is a bit extreme).

Pretty happy with them all together, I don't think they are worth the $700 they were initially asking for them but at $350 they seem like a steal.

>i'm so glad i didn't buy them for 60 when they first came out
this is from the KZ official store at Aliexpress.

nobody is buying them. The AS10 are holding strong despite being the old news.

Meanwhile the KZ ZSN is actually going up from 16 to 18

Attached: Screenshot_2018-12-23 KZ Official Store - Small Orders Online Store, Hot Selling and more on Aliexpr (809x544, 236K)

they're $26.99 right now at gb with coupon and went as low as $25.99 during 11.11
i bought the zsn's as soon as they came out at $13, they're good quality and are a great spare and come with their upgraded braided copper cable, feels like the kz pattern is just
>bring out a great set
>bring out a bad set
>good set
>bad set
ad infinitum
they just brought out a 6 driver iem and announced their zs7's within days of each other
something tells me they're not in it for the long run since they're just pushing out as many as possible

>i bought the zsn's as soon as they came out at $13
Yep I got it at that price too, and now it's 15 at the same store. 16-18 elsewhere. People are actually buying it for the price-quality ratio and resellers are noticing.

They make great burner IEMs.

KZ went Nintendo and released «ZS3 Classic» — ZS3E.

Attached: zs3e.jpg (500x500, 25K)

Would a pair of kz zsn's be an upgrade over my current piston 3s?

>putting bright AIDS red shit in my ears
nope. my original ZS3s are fucking great and I still haven't killed the 1st pair of the 2 I bought.

>Would a pair of kz zsn's be an upgrade over my current piston 3s?
No. It would be kind of a side-grade. You're not getting an upgrade in sound unless you bought something really shitty in the first place. Only way to upgrade yourself is to pay more.

I'm also looking for wireless IEMs but there doesn't seem to be any great options
seems impossible to find, do you have any suggestions for something I could easily order online?

You know you picked a good IEM when the company releases a special edition of it.

Oh man I love my ZS3s

>HOT
that a reference to the treble?

these are insane, i'd have to be black to be able to pull these off
or a girl
or punk/goth

Are these really that good?
Are they worth the $100?

My dream IEM are those with more treble. They lack treble for them to be perfect.

And Etymotic ER4XR isn't it either, the bass isn't as refined as it is on those, IMO.

trn v80
6 cents a day for a year, why not

Or just not uptight.

i usually don't care about the looks of earphones or headphones but these are on another level
it's like i'm hemorrhaging blood from my ears or something

Bass cannons for 25,50 and 100 please

Thanks, I'll just get the TRN V80s instead.

Sup ne/g/roids, any decent iems for usb-c cucks?

Attached: Jackless.png (696x215, 84K)

Small sillicone

it's the age of true wireless my friend

TRN V80 is good if you like hearing damage

e3000 is like an re400 with a better build and not so sharp treble cliff. sounds like my hd580 after a 5db bass boost.

just gen an adapter. tape it to the 3.5mm IEM cable if you want it to feel more permanent.

That's weird.
e3000 is mudfest compared to re400.

He’s probably looking at graphs without ever hearing them lol.

>Featured IEM: NICEHCK EZAUDIO D4: The current best bang for your buck at $10

Have you heard the Einsear T2? I think they sound fantastic. Like a more relaxed, more open TRN V80. Don’t come with that cool carry case though.

Elaborate . I'll go with the ZSNs instead if you can actually tell me why.

listening, actually.

Dunno, I like bright earphones. ZST Pros were my favorites until they died.
Pretty sure it says «HiFi».

Attached: dead_zst.jpg (4048x3036, 1.96M)

Sibilance. If you’re willing to fork over $20 more for comply isolation tips they solve that, but without them I wouldn’t even give the V80’s a chance.

And by «bright» I meant colors, not sound signature; although it applies to that too.

>I'll go with the ZSNs instead if you can actually tell me why.
don't listen to anybody here. they are trying to meme each other. just read reviews for yourself or you're gonna end up regretting your purchase.

E2000 vs. E3000. Which ones and why?

Attached: Final-E2000-E3000-600x400.jpg (600x400, 45K)

Confused.
How is coloration isn't part of sound signature?

E1000 instead.

Why?
«Bright» means accented highs, «dark» — lows.

Oh, I misread your question. I meant to say that I like brightly colored iems, e. g. red, blue, green ones etc.
