Mionix Castor

thinking of getting a DM1 FPS or what ever its called.

looks cool like a WMO kinda. only thing I don't like about it is the black cable.

Attached: DM1FPSfirstpic.jpg (1280x1919, 505K)

only reason im getting it thou is I can overclock my wmo to 8000hz on Linux which I do on windows so it will default to 125hz while the DM1 will run at 1000hz.

will probably keep the wmo's I have for windows but not sure how longer windows will be relevant the next version of windows wont even support .exe :/

*is I can't overclock on linux i mean

G400 because I don’t have arse-boogers

MMO Gaming Mouse - G600 - Logitech

It's fun.

takes 2 AA batteries and is heavy as compared to cheap logitechs

Microsoft Wheel Mouse Optical 1.1A

Do you know if the later model v2 white wmo go yellow with sunlight/age

I had a early v1 one and it did

Deathadder 2013. Lasted me ok compared to some stories I've heard but the scroll wheel has just started randomly fucking up with odd jump scrolls in the opposite direction to which the wheel is moved in, annoying me so much that I'm probably going to replace it very soon

I am between logitech M720 and G603. I never play video games. Which would be better comfort-wise?

i'm using a Zowie FK (the original one)
I like the shape alot but the switches are starting to act up.
Anyone know a current mouse that has the same shape and weight but higher quality switches?
I could just get a new benQ zowie but they hiked the price up quiet a bit since getting bought out and i'm worried it would just break eventually again.

Attached: zowie-fk-banner.jpg (745x340, 25K)

G500 but the scroll wheel started fucking up lately - when I use it with free spinning it starts to bump a little on something inside. It's not doing that right now, but I'm looking for a replacement. And the middle mouse click doesn't work at all.
Any recommendations, preferably about the same dimensions (129x76x44 mm)?
I'm thinking about either the G502, G402 and G403.
I've heard good things about those Zowie EC1/2 mice, but being unable to set a custom DPI is a slight inconvenience.

Attached: 15994.png (455x500, 149K)

I had one of those but it would always doubleclick

these are better than people say.

I see heaps of reviews say they are terrible but that's not true one you get used to them and if you know how to use a playstation or what ever imo they are better than even the best mac trackpads.

used one for maybe 2years in highschool at library in early 2000s the "new 3ds" has one also so if Nintendo thinks they are passable they cant be that bad.

My baby

Attached: IMG_20181222_051527.jpg (3648x2736, 2.85M)

All switches these days aside from Zowie and Dream Machines (only the DM1 FPS) are Omron brand switches, which are ridiculously prone to double-clicking. It was different some years ago but recently the Chinese Omron brand completely dropped quality and began developing double-clicks like crazy. Zowie and the DM1 FPS both use Huanos and are probably not going to break as easily, but in all mice the weakness is in the switches anyway so you'll only lessen the chance of having bad switches.

get a 5$ wmo from ebay. the best mouse where made in the 2000s. you cant compare brands or even model numbers because omrons made in the early 2000s where better than earnly 2010s etc.

like the Omron machines are prob worn out from churring out billion switches but they CBF fixing them because they trying to seduce brands to buy "improved version"... shit like that is why consumer shit gets worse over time.

I hear stories of mice these days of all brands they all seem to fail in 6months if you game heavy zowie and prob DM too. just zowie users don't play MMO or ARPG and just fps shit so it happens less.

TLDR if you want a mice to last longer than a year get one from 2000-2006

What would be some good macros for someone who types a lot?

that exact one but with a scroll wheel

The G603. I bought originaly just for gaymen but it has proven to be the best mouse for everything for me. There is zero lag and the connection is solid 100% of the time.

Wireless Logitech mouse because it works

step it up lads

Attached: huge_019.jpg (1024x683, 73K)

the omron switches, even chinese made ones dont get worn out, its poor design of the mouse itself, plastic and push button plastic part.
chattering and causing too much pressure and bouncing of the switch itself.
the zowie mouse clicks are loud as fuck (huano) and annoying to me without headphones.
the zowie internal shape they never changed was conducive to causing double clicking on them so they picked some other chinese shithole to make them
just dont buy logitech
> if you want a mice to last longer than a year get one from 2000-2006
stupidest thing I've heard

G203 Prodigy
Is quite nice

G400s, but will likely go wireless once it kicks the bucket.

eat shit nigger

Attached: trackball-wrist-rest.jpg (270x270, 14K)

I think the issue with my Zowie is the plastic shell on the switches is worn out.
I've completely taken it apart and the right mouse switch which was causing problems seems to work fine on its own. the plastic shell just doesn't press it down consistently anymore.
imagine you are playing an fps. you press and hold the right mouse button to ADS and what happens is the camera rapidly aims down the sights and then un-aims as if you were sitting there rapidly mashing the right mouse button instead of just holding it. it does this every now and then, not consistently but enough that I need a new mouse. i've opened it up multiple times and cannot fix it.

>they don't use a Warmouse Meta

pretty comfy. sensor is kinda shit though.
>inb4 wireless mouse

The cable is the best part about it, it's extremely flexible so it barely ever gets in the way unlike braided / stiffer plastic cables

I use pic related

Try blowing some compressed air on the switch. Don't blow it too close though, it's pretty delicate. If that doesn't work, it's a good time to replace, or if you can you should try to solder sonenew switches on.

I replaced a Kensington expert with a huge, the huge is much better in so many ways

Where can I buy a mouse with similar retro design, many buttons, but wireless?

Some Dell mouse I piced off my Uni's eWaste basket.

5 years isn't bad.

Razer Deathadder Elite here, a few months old.

Too true, the razer I got in 2007 still works fine and I see no reason to replace it

I flat out refuse to buy a laptop without a nipple.

Yes.

Reminder that wireless mouses are 1ms these days, completely and utterly deprecating wired mouses for all eternity until the end of time, and getting a wired mouse today is the same as holding a sign saying "I am a fucking retard, please kill me with fire immediately".

Anyone know of a completely silent mouse and keyboard?

this

I think some variation of the Steelseries Sensei? It's okay.

>reminder that wireless mice have a minimum delay of 1ms in their buffer feed that is designed to normalize and queue-up the erratic signals they are getting at random delays and often dropping them entirely

My HUGE mappings don't work in games or on the windows login, you know if there is any solution to that? I'm using the latest software but it won't recognize fn1 as left click all the time

makes me laugh because the huge has better support in Linux than it does in windows

This one. You should avoid it like the plague, it's shit.

There's only one right answer: the Logitech G Pro Wireless.

Logitech g pro with a hero sensor

Patrician choice. I have a few trackballs and this one is by far the comfiest.

logitech g203
they're cheap and reliable

people actually say that these are bad?
the moment i used one of these for the first time i intensly ejaculated all over my room

A 1ms polling rate doesn't mean 1ms lag you idiot wireless is still 20-50ms so like 1/20th of a second otherwise they would be upfront about it

you are so based and redpilled my faith in life is restored, thank you.

I use the laptop trackpads so I get better at using the keyboard solo. I only use a mouse for gaming and selecting text faster.

When I use a mouse it's a inland 3d optical mouse

Do wireless mice do wireless charging too? Because my usb mouse gets more action then my cheap logitech wireless for exactly that purpose. I dont need batterys for the wireless
