I have a thing for tech demos on computers, regardless if said demos have any coherent story or not. I wonder if there is an 80-90s IBM PC tech demo scene like there is for the Atari 8-bit, C64, Vic-20, Apple IIGS, ST, Amiga, BBC Micro, ZX Spectrum, MSX, and Archimedes. Ditto for the PC-98 and FM Towns computers that only got officially released in Japan. What's your favorite computer demoscene Jow Forums?

4k is the best imo though these days i just dont feel the same about modern demos as i do with older ones. everyone just minifies/compresses a shader and the rest is basic music/sequencing code
that being said, elevated is still one of my favorite demos. iq's articles are really great as well
Bless you for making this thread. I hope I get to see more in the future

C64 and Amiga A1200 master race.
I don't really have a preference except for the music aspect, c64 is the best in that case

Goddamn that’s comfy.
fuck this makes me so happy. it feels just like an oldschool amiga cracktro, plus a dubmood song that I'm familiar with. just makes me giddy to watch this.
