I don't think I will leave a large footprint. I post on reddit every few days, but I delete every single one of my comments after 7 days (and edit it to gibberish before doing so). I do the same with my fake Jewbook account (I post in various groups like local city, city development, etc). On Jow Forums I'm anonymous so who I don't care. Other than that I only post on private tracker forums.

Everything I want to live on, like my collection of rare frogs and various obscure memes collected over the last decade is already being replicated to a nas at my parents house. My will provides normie level details on how to access them and what to do with them.

Not really. It's more than 12 and less than 24, and the longest time I've been off the grid since 2001. If I can't even remotely log in to my computer to reset that idle timer in that time, then I'm probably dead, and my private belongings - digital or not - are nobody's business.

Encryption is protection against nosy family members. Deadman's switches are protection against people who would actually put effort trying to break into things. Deadman's switches less than a day long are for double-agents who think that they might already be found out and that the location of their data might already be known.

I have setup of 5kg thermite over my drives which will be ignited if:
- someone tries to physically open or move my PC
- enters encryption password 6 times incorrectly
- password isn't changed every 2 days

I know this is a meme but that is an over-high opinion of the FBI. If you just had a hidden encrypted file and were detained you would get off scott free. Even if they knew it was there they'd never be able to prove it and NEVER be able to get into it.
