I have 1440p 25 incher, they did bork the fonts in mojave but some terminal commands can band aid it

It's missing a lot of the features that HFS+ had. There's a reason Apple continues to use HFS+ for TimeMachine and their hybrid drive setups, it's just way more feature-full.
