Was on Noto Mono for a while, but moved to IBM Plex Mono

Source Code Pro.

I spent fucken ages browsing mono fonts, and the best I could find (still not perfect) was Oxygen Mono. I'm using that now.

Dejavu sans mono because its available everywhere and decent.

Terminus size 11.

IBM Plex, Iosevka, or Input. I always end up using one of those.

Comic Sans, faggot

the bitmap font from the parallax propeller

Arial

Windings

This

Not whatever that ugly shit is

Ubuntu

Tewi, I actually use it system-wide. I love it but the fact that it's a bitmap font occasionally becomes problematic

Do you have aids?

Some old toshiba font.
It's the best one I have found to date.
Here you have a list of a bunch of old fonts int10h.org/oldschool-pc-fonts/fontlist/
They are pretty good imo.

And apparently I'm not the only one who appreciates these fonts.

They're clear, look good in high contrast, and don't have any retarded antialiasing.

I was young and went on a journey to find the best programming font.
tried
Iosevka, monoid, firacode, ibm plex, consolas, lucida, inconsolata, noto, terminus
none of those looked satisfying and realized that it was a way of avoiding work like searching for the best color scheme or editor.
Then I got a job and now using liberations sans mono

what font is that?

scientifica

kill yourself, zoomer cancer.

Firacode

with open(...) as f:
...
f.close()

context managers with file objects will close them if they're made for the context, the extra f.close isn't necessary

Fira code with ligatures enabled

Anonymous Pro also use it all over in every application to set so that way I don't get bored of staring different fonts.

Nevermind, tried Tahoma and it's better looking

>using fonts
>not dictating code to your computer

I thought it was time to leave g for good, but then you came user, you saved my hope.

If it's hard to distinguish any of the following characters at low font sizes, your font sucks.

Roboto Mono is my favourite.

why the fuck is your text so huge? are you blind? lets see how it looks at a reasonable size.

baka...

so you are blind?

>pick out Twitter font demonstration with nice big symbols so anons can see why it's good
>"WHY IS YOUR CODE SO BIG ARE YOU BLIND"
this board is truly retarded

it's not representative of daily coding if you're displaying it in an unreasonable size. A good programming font should look good at small size.

Retard.

yes

If you compensate for a high density display, the font size is still on the large side after scaling down to half the dimensions (around 16px or 12pt in Windows terms), but reasonable.

have some then retardo

Consolas

Attached: Screen Shot 2018-12-26 at 11.37.32.png (2055x2228, 1.62M)

Still using it after having spent a few years switching fonts left and right. I'm glad I found my font of choice.
And if I want to disable ligatures I can just toggle a flag in VSCode.

>dictating code to your computer
Emacs-tier cringe

Oh, sorry, I guess you kids these days are more into "gestures" or whatever. Waggle to code.

looks ugly. imagine if you used it at 8pt, yikes.

Hack when editing.
Fixedsys for everything else (ui, terminal)
I have set a keybinding in urxvt and sublime to toggle between Hack:18 and Fixedsys:12.
When i write markdown, i use Hack at but smaller font so i can have longer lines.

Attached: hackandfixedsysftw.png (1080x1920, 202K)

this is 8pt retard
are you this one?

I mean dictation is an option if u're longtime Emacs user having an RSI, whereas touch typing is timeless.

Hack

What is that bar on the bottom? I'm assuming this is vim right?

This

operator mono with ligatures from firacode

Yeah, this is lightline for vim

Why bother with the "with open() as f instead of f.open, f.op, f.close then
