*cough*EROEI*cough*

call me when I can get one without botnet or (((infotainment))) bullshit.

May as well disconnect that phone buddy, nobody is gonna call.

DIY EV is an ultimate bad goy car.
>little or no maintenance
>you can produce your own electricy
>GNU/Linux on-board computer
>ultimate reliability
Tuned Nissan Leaf also good.

However, (((Tesla))) and other manufactured EV are ultimate cuckoldry
>can be traced
>permanent Internet connection
>Drive-by-wire with no backups system
>overpriced AF

Dream on retard.

Based and redpilled

What's a solid state battery and why is it better than Lion?

how much is "significantly"

Sounds incremental at best. Call me when Oil goes back up to $100 a barrel then we might start taking Electricity seriously again.

SS is actually lower capacity than Lithium density but better in weight, and not a bomb and doesn't degrade nearly as much.

Ahh, "Year of the Linux Desktop" version 1.
I've been hearing this every year that I've been alive.

Pretty sure it's better on all fronts, weight, power density, stability.. besides cost but that's until economics of scale kick in.

Electric cars are the future, no doubt

Electric cars are for effeminate cucks

gas is $2 per gallon in my state right now
the US is the worlds largest oil producer
electric cars are only a good idea if leftists manage to shut down all industry, otherwise its retarded and WAY more polluting in the ways that actually matter (i.e. toxic metals vs abundant and safe gasses)

next year is our year

t. GNU/lincuck

>he fell for the SSD meme
God damnit. Now the hippies stick the SSDs into cars. Truly sickening.

All the parts on Tesla are correct except Drive-By-Wire, there is a physical connection between the the wheel and the steering rack still.
Nissan is the only company to go full-retard with complete drive-by-wire.

Other than the fact that EV are both heavier, faster and more dangerous than gasoline cars you'd be right.

they go real quick though.

>Nissan is the only company to go full-retard with complete drive-by-wire.
The only thing that's absolutely necessary to have a physical connection is the brakes, nothing else. That is the ONLY thing in a car that needs to work 100% of the time no matter the circumstances.

but muh acceleration

That's around 80% of the reason people buy expensive as fuck sports cars.

No. The steering wheel needs a physical connection too. Unless you wanna brake hard and have your car make several rolls

Nah, they do to impress young females
