how do you block the annoying (ear rape) audio ads here? ublock origin doesn't seem to do shit.

Alternatively if you're gonna dindu, then look into host file or pi.hole/DNS level blocking.

I block the ads by paying for the Premium for Family plan and splitting the bill between my friends who use it. Breaks down to $30/year per user, which is 75% cheaper than their regular subscription.

I still have my own music collection that I listen to 99% of the time, but when I need to check out a new band I've never heard of before, spotify is handy

yeah but where do I find a host file that is up to date? most of the ones I find are outdated it seems.

I have dns blocking doesn't do shit on any device. They probably have their own web client and dns inbuilt.
