Would it work?

Would it work?

there are no engines, so no, nor are there any wings for lift.

No

yes, as long as its first carried on a larger aircraft that would 'slingshot' it mid air

then it would just be a glider, it wouldn't be able to maintain an altitude by itself.

It wouldn’t even be a glider because the only lift is at the rear. It would be a bomb without an explosive payload.

Wings on an aircraft actually produce very little lift and are mostly used for cruising at a given alltitude.
Angle of attack produces much more lift and is why planes can fly upside down without plummeting into the ground.

A plan like the one you have shown might work for a little bit but would probably need to move really fast through the air to remain in control and can't produce any thrust without an engine.

how does it balance on 1 wheel

Looks like something this guy and his crew would fly.

One of those Segway systems?

This.

Who? What cartoon is that?

Don Karnage from Talespin.
They had pretty wonky looking planes in that show.

Thanks. Thought it was a cartoon that Ive been trying to remember for some time now.

This is what it'll do.

Yes, not as a plane though

One gust of wind and it's going sideways.

With a powerful enough of an engine, anything acn fly.

Damn. I wish I were there.

>not using the APU as propulsion

What you're saying is true but doesn't change the fact that the only wing surface left is so far behind the centre of gravity that this aircraft would eat shit and die.

*SKRRRRRT*
*dabs on the haters*

Yes, but it would be extremely painful

It's a smol plane

For youuur passengers

probably.

almost got tricked into thinking that is real

Sure, if it had engines. Landing and takeoff would be a nightmare with the back end of the plane grinding.

>the US doesn't have hypersonic planes
They've been publicly known since 2004, might have been in operation since the early 90s.

Take this retarded shit to you fucking mongoloid.

YEAH

it would fly like a dart
if the control surfaces on the wings had enough authority (which i doubt they do) then it could still be flown.
Remember there have been fighter jets flown for quite a distance with an entire front wing missing because the airspeed gave so much control

nice

Fly, yes, but a big enough catapult can also make anything fly. Land in one piece, no.

It didn't fly so good.

kek

>a bomb without an explosive payload
Depends on whether there are any shitskins on board or not

The center of lift isn't aligned with the center of mass so no.

Small airplanes exist and don't look like that, if that's what you're asking.
