hows solus holding up? worth using as an everyday distro yet?
also, when did manjaro become the undisputed distro champ? ive been gone for too long i guess

No idea, but it's Arch without the Arch install bullshit, I think. It's the next logical step up from *Ubuntu or even Debian.

>He thinks distrowatch page hit rankings equal popularity or useage

The state of neo Jow Forums

>become the undisputed distro champ

40% done with a 9 hour into to linux course after 27 days.Loved ever second of it.Might even make it my host OS one day.

Is there any way to get curly brace expansion to work in an i3 keybind?

Checked. You're wasting your time. Linux is dead and obsolete.

Tannenbaum was right. The most popular kernel today is MINIX.

Der heißt Tannebaum, du Hans Wurst.

If you're colorblind do you just randomly call gray red in hopes that you seem like you're not blind

Kriegst dicke Weihnachtswurst im Mund.

So my laptop has an Intel wifi card, which means that I can't use free as freedom distro like Trisquel or Parabola.

Is there a way around this? would carrying a supported Wifi usb dongle solve the issue? Never had experience with Trisquel or Parabola beforehand

Tanenbaum to be precise.

Dieser Neger hat Ahnung.

Fangst glei oane, Saukrippel.

Weisswurst pls go.

Does rms draw his slides himself? I like them.

How much better does gentoo perform over arch? Is it even noticeable?

Not sure, mail him and let me know. Meanwhile, grab some slides: static.fsf.org/nosvn/RMS_Intro_to_FS_TEDx_Slideshow.odp

Gentoo makes it easy to reject certain features of a program and compile it for your architecture, which makes programs on Gentoo faster. That said, any distro that isn't complete retarded provides simple instructions to compile a program from source - which again results in the same speed gains of using Gentoo.

You must choose if you want to compile everything - then get Gentoo, of you are fine with the usual defaults, get any dusri and just compile pkgs you want to customize.

I call it red because I feel like it

It didn't work. How do I make this work? I don't want to have to mount everything from the emergency shell every time I boot up. How do I make it do it automatically?

Found the commie.

>all the problems plaguing me in noobuntu land for the last month was because of major windows updates re-enabling fast boot on my windows partition

if you are that autistic just replace the wifi card, they arent expensive

Not that guy, but coincidentally i replaced my Wifi card with an Intel because it was better supported in Linux, even if it needs proprietary blobs.
WiFi is just an all round propietary clusterfuck.

Faggot

manjaro vs mx as main os on a thinkpad?
