looking for something that can record high framerates that isnt an iphone and isnt $400+

How high and at what resolution? Or do you mean those super slow-mo snippets?

Femanon here

Try the Huawei Mate 10. Can record at 100fps, and as it is last year's model you can pick it up fairly cheap now

Attached: selfie1.jpg (764x1024, 107K)

Pocophone can do 60fps, and 240fps and 960fps slow motion.

Pocophone

Are they any android stock roms for huawei out there? EMUI is a cancerous flaming garbage

No

>Femanon here
ok, sure

Attached: smug pepe.jpg (600x800, 75K)

I guess i'll have to ditch huawei for something better

plz b my gf

>huawei
im not using chinese botnet

Thinking about swapping my S8 out for a Oneplus 6t, mostly because Samsung isn't pushing any android updates out to it, my model has no way of rooting/flashing roms, and it has non-removable samsung and t-mobile botnets installed
Does that sound like a good choice?

>circle cutout for camera
>still a bezel on the bottom

How is Samsung in terms of Android updates nowadays? A few of my relatives are using S8s and they're all still on Oreo, and I'm looking to get a Note 9 which is apparently still on Oreo coming from a phone with Pie.

The last android I had was a galaxy s4 when I upgraded to an iPhone 6s. What's a decent android phone I can get so I can fuck off of apple's bullshit.

How's the jump from a Galaxy S4 to the Mi A2 Lite?
How's the jump from a Galaxy S4 to the iPhone 6S?

I was all set on vying a Pocophne tonight when I realised there no NFC. I use it near daily atm for topping up a travel card, any other options at that price point with it? I might just still go for it and keep the current phone for the NFC..

>How's the jump from a Galaxy S4 to the iPhone 6S?
good and bad. Phone doesnt feel like a slow peice of shit, but I miss being able to swap out a battery or stick in a micro sd. I also miss having a rooted phone and have been missing the timing for a jailbreak. Got any recommendations for a decent android phone. I'm fine it's samsung.

Is it worth fixing up a Nexus 6 for $65 that'll replace the screen and battery for poorfag?

Where do I drill it to wipe it forever friends?

Is this the note 9 the perfect phone? Ignoring bixby, there are absolutely ZERO flaws.

Should I bite the bullet and join the meme club?

It's too huge

Whelp

No. Curved screen, glass back, locked down bootloader without top of the line stock software. Still the strongest contender for phone of the year imo.
If you're in the US, I wouldn't recommend it.

Trump is banning Chink phones in the US next year. Better get them while you can.

what phone?

Note 8

when will MicroLED be able to be produced and put on phones? I know it's emerging technology, but I like amoled, but burn in is an unfortunate consequence.
Then again, it'd probably come with an exorbitant premium.

Do you have any suggestions or not? Or should I just sit on my ass on ios 11.4.1 and wait for a jailbreak?

Im buying a Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A with 2RAM and 16ROM, is it ok for current year?

Do these cheap phones get software updates?

>should I just sit on my ass
ye

Negative

I wonder how many hours a day you were texting something

>Still using an LG G5
>Popped a new battery in recently and don't feel any need to buy a newer phone

Who here living that older flagship life? I basically just text, listen to podcasts, take photos and browse the web so it works great for me.

Nokia 6.1 or xiaomi redmi note 5?

No idea, I do use my phone a decent amount for work emails, shitposting, and group chats, nothing excessive though. If I'm near a computer (and I usually am) I just use that for pretty much everything. I rarely text people.

if i factory reset a unlocked phone that was carrier exclusive at one point, does it become locked again?

Attached: 1514333083527.jpg (512x512, 50K)

slap chop it

I would say yes. Performance is still fine. The only problem with Nexus 6 is battery life and screen burn-in.

T. Nexus 6 user

Is there any better cheap phone right now than an unlockable LG G6? Under $200, sexy design, no stupid notch, decent specs, small enough to use one-handed.

I seriously think this is one of the most underrated phones of all time. The only thing LG messed up was not putting the Hi-Fi DAC in all of them.

Attached: lg-g6.jpg (1600x1067, 367K)

no

And NSA botnet is better?

NTH FOR MEME MIX 3

It does seem like a pretty bad case with your phone. I've had a few amoled phones and they're all fine even after years of use. I expected a bit more progress towards oled longevity in the past few years. My note 4 has no issues but I'd be pissed if I had burn in on a note 8/9.

What's with those holes for camera? Is it the next thing after notch?

As opposed to the peoples republic of China

Hard to believe that you cunts buy these shit phones from commie with out any thought.

Samsung is slow with updates. Back in the S6 days, I got the latest android on my N6 immediately while my cousin with his S6edge had to wait till March or something.

I usually disable the bloatware apps that come with the phone.

The 6T will be an upgrade, but you'll lose the 3.5mm jack. Just compare the 2 side by side and see what you stand to gain and lose.

2/16 is way too low. I'd recommend at least a 3/4 with at least 32gb storage.

Unless you're running some custom bare minimum ROM

what brands actually makes their phones to last, in your opinion?

Is it really that bad?
Fuck
Well then what custom rom should I use?

I have no experience with any custom roms since I never used one. Always went for stock android with Nexus and now a O+5T.

I'd suggest looking for a phone in your budget with decent specs and then looking for popular roms on it.

What's with the anons in the last thread talking about getting the Note 9 for $600-700? Notes don't get discounted until a newer one comes out.

Doesn't matter. OLEDshit will always burn in. It's shit tech I fucking hate companies for jumping on it and ditching IPS

How bad is Exynos compared to Snapdragon for the Note 9? I saw some posts saying it's not too bad but then watched some videos that showed otherwise.

idk about others, but I bought my note 9 snapdragon for $800 USD in New Zealand so they are being discounted here at least

Can the chinks even hold the fuck huge smartphones that the produce? I don't think their hands are big enough.

Is it still possible to buy an FHD phone for $100 or it is necessary that it is HD+ for $100 and must have a notch?

about the equivalent of 650 usd over here for exynos

REE exyshit 128gb note 9 costs $970 here

kimovil.com/en/where-to-buy-doogee-shoot-1

Is this great?

I only use my phone to send messages, take photos, make calls, occasionally read emails and browse the net. I don't care so much about modifying it. Right now I have an iphone 4s but the battery has basically died. I want to get an oppo ax5. Any reason why I shouldn't? I dont want to spend more than 380 aud on a phone.

>IPhone 4s
What the piss? Didn't those come out in like 2010?

yeah, it has lasted quite a while. But now it's time to get a new phone.

Are you in nigger level poverty? Cause I'm poor as fuck and even I budget $10/month to get a new smartphone every 1-2 years. Granted it's a cheap one at that level, but 8 years is crazy.

I'm not poor, I just didn't have a need to upgrade. The phone worked fine.

I always have my galaxy on mid brightness

Looking for a tablet

Based and redpilled.

It's bad
anandtech.com/show/13582/samsung-galaxy-note9-performance-review-snapdragon-vs-exynos

If you want you can disable any app from adb without needing root, it's pretty straightforward
>pm uninstall --user 0 -k

> locked down bootloader without top of the line stock software

Hold on. I was debating which phone to upgrade to from my Galaxy Note 3. It was between the P20 Pro and Note 9, and the Note won because I didn't want to take a risk with EMUI. Now that I know this I don't know what's the next best candidate.

...

Or you know, you could buy a non locked down device?

>If requesting purchasing advice, please provide your country and what carrier you will be using it with, along with wanted features, budget and size.

>locked down bootloader without top of the line stock software.
You do realize this is only a thing for one country on the planet? The land of the free™.

What Google's bullshit specifically?
Which cheap phones?
You're living a ticking time bomb life. With remarkably bad battery life.
gsmarena.com/battery-test.php3?idPhone=7815#show

Do any samsung phones recently have the blood/heart sensor like they used to on note4/s5?

I wouldn't say it's bad, because it's not locked down like the US Snapdragon variant. And the 4000 mAh battery is a good thing for the less efficient Exynos.

What in the fuck are you talking about?

my s9+ has one

Wondering between Samsung S9 and Oneplus 6. I prefer smaller phones and want a headphone jack (hence no 6T); since they are both around $500, which one should I get?

Every fucking gook phone you people buy is a bullet in the head.

...

I can get the base Exynos model for around the same price as highest end OP6T (not the McLaren's one), should I go for it? bump

Attached: 1544586133442.jpg (420x300, 13K)

Is the pocophone just a meme if i live in Britain

Your just a cheap fuck who sells his soul for a phone with gook spyware.

Go read some nick land faggot

fuck off you dirty scum

Care to stop pretending to have telepathic abilities and write something coherent?

Why would it be? Xiaomi recently opened their stores in the UK.

How's the Blackberry Key2? My shitty old iPhone 5 is finally kicking the bucket so it's time for an upgrade.
>UK based
>less than £400
>Encrypted
I'll be using it mostly for messaging, emails, reading, and shitposting. Maybe music, but its not essential.

Attached: blackberrykeytwo.jpg (1200x800, 343K)

care to stop being a fucking shill

Yeah, fascinating. Shill for what?
