Get 1440p monitor

I hate this meme.
Is 1080p the ideal resolution for all sub 32 inch screens?

>websites are too small
some are, some aren't
browsers have zoom for a reason

>scaling makes big images that would look good at full resolution zoomed in unnecessarily
just scale the text if you care that much

>games are harder to run
yes

>Is 1080p the ideal resolution for all sub 32 inch screens?
probably not, 27 inch 1440p is pretty comfy

>27 inch 1440p is pretty comfy
This. Just got this type of monitor after living with 1080p for so long. Not a problem at all. 27 inch for that resolution is just right.

we need a genocide on these anime fags

>have 1080p monitor
>crosshairs look good
>have 1440p monitor
>crosshairs look fat
>setting game to 1080p on the 1440p doesn’t fix the crosshairs
>have 4K monitor
>crosshairs look good
>set game to 1080p on the 4K monitor
>crosshairs still look good

what's a good 1080p monitor size? i'm currently using a 23inch and want to switch to 1440p, but maybe i just need a larger screen to feel comfy

Seconding this

1080p and below is ideal on a 24" or less monitor, but 1440p panels are better above that.

Less than 120hz is unacceptable either way.

24inch is the highest I would go with 1080p
27inch is the best res for 1440p

Is this shopped?

OP here.
my monitor is 1440p 144hz at 27 inches.
I cannot read text and Jow Forums catalog thumbs are too small.
I wish I just bought a 3rd 24 inch 1080p monitor now.

>27" 4k 200% scaling
everything acts like it's 1080p but it's super sharp
the comfiest

Yes. 1080p is the maximum resolution you should go for on a monitor or laptop. 720p on smartphones.

1366x768 is perfect resolution

btw 3d is better

Everything else is a meme

that's a comparison between two monitors you moron. if you think the second picture is a screenshot then that confirms high DPI rules.

Retard. Change system and browser font size and enjoy. I can screenshot my settings and post them when I'll get off my bed. Scaling is a fucking meme, disable it.

just to prove you wrong here is side by side my 1080p and 4k monitor: streamable.com/9u2pf

I've had zero problems with just adjusting the DPI.

>People defending 1080p on big ass screens in 2018

I can't see why 4k is good for mobile devices because of battery life concerns but why the fuck are 24" 1080p devices supposed to be ideal?

jesus, what the fuck happened to that man?
his room looks like a 12 yr old girls room.
