Who said it was a gui one?

It is also the naming convention to the command switch you fucking moron.

Because no option is that long.
>m-m-muh naming convention
Get the fuck off my board before I wipe my cock on the inside of your eyelid, son. Shakin' my damn head.

NOT using some kind of gui for file management is just stubborn autism. Also if your desktop environment doesn't provide "extract to folder" in the context menu for archive you should get a refund.

You know "cock" in your context is a naming convention right?

>unzip file.zip -d zipfolder
Really?

GNU+Linux+atool doesn't have this problem

GUIs are inefficient and lame. I don't use a DE either. Get lost.
You think I was ragging on the concept of a naming convention? Retard.

I made a little python script that can make a directory and unzip an archive and than prompt you to delete it. It saves a lot of time when I unzip cartoon porn galleries from exhentai.

You have to get there to use that command. You don't just magically get there.

>GUIs are inefficient and lame.
>literally made a thread about you being punished for not using a GUI

That wasn't me. I'm not KP. Check the post count for once.

le

You're just as dumb as OP, sorry for the mixup.

Says the GUIfag who doesn't know the option for extracting to a DIRECTORY.

Unless it takes two button presses to type you can fuck right off with your inefficient solution.

You have to use the mouse, plus a resource heavy file manager. Enjoy your carpel tunnel.

Yup, Linux is awesome

How is it slower? Do you type like some kind of boomer?

>Struggle for 4 hours reading the man pages to try to extract the archive
Sounds about right for what a winjeet would do.
>Linux
Just a kernel, nothing more.

>open a terminal
>type a string
vs
>right click, left click

mkdir WD
mv file.zip WD
cd WD
unzip file.zip

reeeel haard

Wrong
mkdir WD
unzip file.zip -d WD

Open a terminal with quick keyboard shortcut
cd to directory
extract file

Why does that seem difficult to you? Are you retarded?

boy, you must be mentally challanged
>install linux
>right click the file
>extract to
done in 5 seconds

>>Open a terminal with quick keyboard shortcut
Already slower/more actions performed than by using a mouse. Stopped reading here.

Who mentioned a GUI?

You download to home like a fucking animal I see. Also without the gui how did you get the file? Yes when you are in the proper directory it may be faster but if you step the fuck back a little and look at the entire process you will realize you life is meaningless.

Moving away from the home row is slower than using a shortcut on the home row.

With wget, you tool.

So you went from a GUI into a terminal...

Please work out the steps. Find the file and get it.

You don't have to use X if you don't want to.
You just use wget to download the file.

How horrible?

links
mkdir WD
cd WD
wget filefromlinks.com/file.zip
unzip file.zip

>blaming the user for not extracting to a directory when it's the archive's creator's fault for making it a zip bomb

That's not difficult. It's just slower. You're conflating the two.

If you don't lock your bike then you can blame the niggers for stealing it all you want, but at the end of the day, you're still an idiot.
