I'll start
shutdown -H now

No but seriously can anyone describe how to install Xorg and AMD drivers in gentoo?
It screams my use flags are wrong.

>downloading the iso now

The non nigger way of installing it is by using Lubuntu live iso
In general the video card drivers are part of the kernel, as for the CPU, you have to search your model and activate right the firmware blob to load in the kernel too
>but how
eh, search it. Good luck

After reboot
emerge --ask sys-devel/distcc
That should reduce the compile times

post error message.

gdisk /dev/sda

Well it was something that I have missing dependencies. But when I try to install the missing dependencies, it tries to install the former first. It goes in a dependency loop.
Not sure, I uninstalled gentoo.
>Lubuntu live iso
What difference does it make?

Can't I just install gentoo from the live gentoo CD and sudo emerge -euDN @world so it's made for my personal machine?

bump

next time just ask for help on gentoo forums and based neddy will explain everything for you
but yes it is very possible to use xorg and amd drivers together

By using amdgpu

I did this on Christmas. You should know that it takes a week to compile on a poor man's hardware
cd /usr/src/linux && make menuconfig

Someone should host a publicly accessible VNC to a VM where we install Gentoo together

don't fall for the meme

I've been installing gentoo since 2006 and it's still not done

Just finished updating my system :3

username and password doesn't work

Ye I changed it, too many winbabbies spamming shit. I'll go to sleep now and I'm not gonna let shit run unsupervised, everything's gonna be back up tomorrow

Little known fact: If you start installing Gentoo right now, you will have a usable system at exactly 00:00 Jan 1st 2020.
