is this how kids spell Clementine these days?

>What is the best GUI music player on GNU/Linux
it would be whichever player allows me to have folder view like foobar does, instead of indexing my music library

>why is it DeaDBeeF
i'm pretty sure it doesn't have that

aka poor man's foobar2000

cmus exists

looks like shit

Foobar2000 is miles ahead of any linux player, not even close in terms of format support.

deadbeef is a fine collection of more or less annoying bugs.

but it's Clementine

i don't give a shit about supporting formats other than mp3 and flac, just give me goddamn folder view. i have over 300 gigs of music arbitrarily organized into genres, then artists, then albums and i want to browse it that way. apparently no loonix music player allows me to do that.

>apparently no loonix music player allows me to do that.
what?

>shell """GUI"""

But it's Audacious

you still a false statement

Never encountered any bugs in my years of using it. The fuck are you on about? Nice digits, btw.

>what is a filemanager?

Elisa does that but it's a broken pile of shit.
GarbageToolKit
>a fucking fruit

Is there literally not a single music player that can beat Audacious? It's not even that great, it looks mediocre and its MPRIS integration is super buggy, doesn't have many fancy features. Literally nothing managed to universally beat it yet.

alright then, ncmpcpp allows me to browse through my folders but it's shell only. loonix still doesn't have a standalone music player with a gui that has folder view.

torille

...

that's how i'm currently doing it, but it's annoying as fuck.

gonna try elisa out right now

How do i force alsa to not resample and just biperfect stream.

I wrote my own curses interface which calls mpv for playback.

cmus more like cums lmao
