Yes, in the US. I graduated with a 4.0 and it took me 8 months to find a terrible job. Even internships don't guarantee you anything now.

I have a 3.5, open source contribution and personal projects and can't get any interviews in my city. Granted, could look outside, but my city actual has a large high tech sector. We just produce a fuck-ton of graduates (one of the highest educated cities in the country), so entry level is saturated as fuck. Might have a comfy govt job soon though.
