It's to keep out anyone that doesn't already use it. They used to include Mein Kampf in the install for the same reason, but it attracted people who liked it unironically. Same with the pride flag. When people start calling 9front redpilled, put a rainbow flag in it.
The 9front developers don't actually want anyone to use 9front.
