How far away from god level AI are we?

Infinitely far.
If it were possible, someone else in the galaxy would have done it billions of years ago, and it'd be here right now instead of us.
Leo Sanders
It already happened.

When people stop passing stats as AI we will advance a step.
James Cox
It won't happen. In many ways biological computers (people) are superior to machines. AI will only ever be as intelligent as its creators. And if it ever gets out of hand, people will be there to destroy it. We have some sort of spark in us that many would call a soul. It allows to create new and wonderful things from nothing. Machines will never have this spark. All they can do is replicate things that already exist. These algorithms will be forever limited to monkey see monkey do and limited predictions based on past experiences.

Are we the ai?
Cooper Flores
We're a hybridized genetically altered species developed by various ayys. Most notably the annunaki

Joe rogan said the machines have a soul

Many reasons this could've not happened.
-Intelligent life is exceedingly rare
-It is exceedingly difficult to create
-It is here but hides itself from us
-It is here and we exist within the matrix as a simulation
-It has happened but its effects have not reached us yet
-It has happened and finds it un-optimal to expand its influence at light speed
-It has happened and extinguished itself
Isaiah Wood
The odds of any life existing like us are extremely slim. We are the most advanced life form in the universe as dictated by statistics. We will create the AI that visits primitive species millions of years from now in other galaxies
