How far away from god level AI are we?

Infinitely far.
If it were possible, someone else in the galaxy would have done it billions of years ago, and it'd be here right now instead of us.
Leo Sanders
It already happened.
Wyatt Richardson
When people stop passing stats as AI we will advance a step.
James Cox
It won't happen. In many ways biological computers (people) are superior to machines. AI will only ever be as intelligent as its creators. And if it ever gets out of hand, people will be there to destroy it. We have some sort of spark in us that many would call a soul. It allows to create new and wonderful things from nothing. Machines will never have this spark. All they can do is replicate things that already exist. These algorithms will be forever limited to monkey see monkey do and limited predictions based on past experiences.
Samuel Jackson
Are we the ai?
Cooper Flores
We're a hybridized genetically altered species developed by various ayys. Most notably the annunaki
Ryan Richardson
Joe rogan said the machines have a soul
Ryder Harris
Many reasons this could've not happened.
-Intelligent life is exceedingly rare
-It is exceedingly difficult to create
-It is here but hides itself from us
-It is here and we exist within the matrix as a simulation
-It has happened but its effects have not reached us yet
-It has happened and finds it un-optimal to expand its influence at light speed
-It has happened and extinguished itself
Isaiah Wood
The odds of any life existing like us are extremely slim. We are the most advanced life form in the universe as dictated by statistics. We will create the AI that visits primitive species millions of years from now in other galaxies
Blake Murphy
Do you actually believe any of the bullshit you just said? Statistics say we aren't alone.

>Joe rogan said the machines have a soul

Yikes

It's actually more likely there have been billions of other advanced civilizations in the universe and even thousands in our own galaxy. Don't underestimate 13 billion years of universal existence.
Evan Williams
What, you actually want some smart computer that can make its' own decisions to realize that the human race as a whole is fucked up and that the only way to "save" us is to kill us all or 90% of the population?
Trust me; once a smart computer runs the numbers; ex - population growth x number of yrs and the vastly shrinking amount of livable land the only logical answer it will draw will be mass eliminations of people.
Uh, no thanks.
