Stop trying to get validation from anons. Just use whatever app that solves whatever problem you might have. You should never install an app just because Jow Forums told you to.
Stop trying to find solutions to problems you don't have.

AntennaPod
NewPipe
Clover
Blokada or something if you need ad blocking

checked
Clover
Webtube(i prefer to login honestly)

Go ahead and hate me but I converted to an iPhone recently. But, the one program I love on there is the podcast app called PodListen. After that stuff like IMSI Catcher and AdAway.

Newpipe with video loading on the page and not only in full screen + home page with random videos to browse would be perfect. I almost is never use newpipe because it's slower and browsing videos isn't possible. I use lightning browser instead

Clover
NewPipe
IceCat
Termux
KISS launcher

I WANT TO PREFACE THIS by saying I write little documents for myself and friends as a target audience, but I'll share what I have. This is a rough draft bc its not complete, I just add on to this list when I find something cool.

All on FDroid & Open Source unless stated otherwise

AnySoftKeyboard: borderline essential for vnc/terminal applications. gives a lot of customizability to keyboard, including undo/redo, ctrl key options, bottom and top bar customization, compact formfactor, arrow key support, dictionary api, etc
Share to Clipboard: Allows any share button go to your clipboard. good for not blindly sharing something to another app.

Social Media:
Clover: Full featured Jow Forums API

Materialistic: A hackernews reader with offline support, don't use HN much but its good so far.

reading:
fbreader: supports PDF, epub, and mobi (non-drm). has an ungodly amount of customization and completely BTFO every other FOSS reading app. Has text to speech plugins. You should download Aard b/c it supports a non free dictionary backbone if not installed.

Tachiyomi

>Icecatmobile
Lightning is better

Libre office viewer is shit

Any dictation application?
Or any speech to text application?

>Call Recorder
This one?
f-droid.org/en/packages/com.github.axet.callrecorder/
For some reason it doesn't work for me.

>Kiwix: offline wiki reader, certain addons can fetch whole website for archive. If you need an offline bulbapedia or Arch wiki, this is a great resource.
How do I create a ZIM file from a certain website?

Essential launcher
Amaze
AndOtp
AnySoftKeyboard
Barcode scanner
AdAway / Blokada
Document Viewer
Simple tools: calendar, gallery, contacts
KDE Connect
Newpipe
Notepad
Silence
Tachiyomi
VLC
AFWall+
EtchDroid
K9Mail
oandbackup
Orbot, tor browser
USB Mountr
VPN Hotspot
wifi key view

And stuff that hasn't been mentioned yet that's decent.

LibreTorrent,
Aria2Android
Aria2App
GPSTest
Revolution IRC
SatStat

primitive ftpd is a nice ftp/sftp server.

there is ublock origin on android???

Firefox supports almost all desktop addons on android.

newpipe
tachiyomi
clover
kiss launcher

only think i hate using is newpipe, pain in the ass when you have 100+ subcription to check

my eyes have awoken frens

never saw a difference, but I'm sure low ram devices can make use of it better. fox/cat is genuinely a better platform for its add-on support but I'm definitely adding it to my internal list, pic relate is lightnings privacy section (not pictured is option to disable cookies). overall I like it and think its a good addition.
yep, if you install gnu icecat it comes with every single icecat add-on as well. I had to disable most of them just like normal ice cat. it supports the whole privacytools normal privacy fag stack perfectly
I'm not 100% b/c this is a work in progress, but I know for a fact some guy got stack overflow using something along the lines of this github.com/openzim/sotoki , Naturally you take it from there but by no means is it a panacea
Yeah its broken on my end as well. It'll record my mic and record every call, but the person will be missing or nearly silent. I still think its good enough in the case I had to use it to prove a point or remember what i said, but I'm unaware of any better FOSS programs at the moment.
Libreoffice viewer is the only way I could open odt w/ a gui. Its a last ditch utility that even mupdf doesn't provide. If you can deal w/ text only ghost commander has a built in text reader/editor

sorry for the clusterfuck I assumed the thread would get all fielded like usual lol

>Kiwix
Thanks anyway.
I was looking for a way to create a ZIM file for orthobullet site.

Anyone getting this error? I even tried forcing old xml option, but still nothing happens.
