Steam for Linux

Why can't this crap just work normally? Is the client shit in general or is it just lagging and disconnecting all the time on Linux? Anyone had this problem?

redpill me on it. can you play all games on it? even normie stuff like csgo?

dualboot steam os
might seem like a meme but its better optimised for games

All of valves games work on it. Valve also threw money at wine to get it integrated into steam sorta

Connection speed and occasional network failures
I cleansed my hard drive on a newly shipped Windows 10 thinkpad to install Xubuntu, how do you like that?
Some games are well ported, like Talos Principle, some, like the original M&B, can be played with Steam Play feature, which I never used
Why can't they just optimise the client? Seems really clanky to me, any possible fixes?

literally everything works for me including Windows games and I sandbox steam and wine

its literally more secure than on Windows and less painless than on Windows
