>trying to get a math degree but doesn't want to learn calculus

Yeh when fortran came out, OOP completely ruined the need to know shit

>not approximating everything as continuous and using calculus

pleb

How the fuck is OOP related to calculus? Are you retarded?

just because you may not need to doesnt mean you shouldnt learn calculus you fucking brainlet

>Being a brainlet human who can't do calculus

I failed math twice and I'm in class for software dev right now

calculus is easy as shit anyways, you might (I repeat, might) not need it, but if you can't learn then you're fucked.

>he thinks he needs a CS degree to be a webdev shitter
A bootcamp seems more suited for you.

>calculus is easy as shit anyways

why does Taylor series divide by n!. Nothing I can find explains that.

>calculus
>hard
Just grab a book lmao

Most of the interesting fields require at least some understanding of calculus.
3D graphics, data analysis and modern AI is heavily dependent on it.

Oh yea lemme just learn every useless skill i possibly can in the odd chance i will ever have to do it LOL
Name one (1) time you have ever had to know calculus outside of academic circlejerk

>why does Taylor series divide by n!.

it has to do with the power rule, differentiating a polynomial of largest degree n, n times, will give you something like n!*x^0, so you have to divide by n!
something on that line, it's certainly not magical nonsense

>it's certainly not magical nonsense

the Taylor series for e^x, sin(x), etc., will always look magical to me, even though I understand their validity.

Can you read?

excellent video, and someone who has a gift for explaining.

That whole series is great. I took calc 2 in college but a lot of it didn't really "click" until I watched his vids.

>doesn't know calculus
>makes meaningless loops to calculate x += 5*i
>program is now useless for large values
