Using Gnome prevents my obsessive ricing, only modification I have on it is the dash to dock extension.
Also Gnome plays nice with Steam (mouse focus in Steam on dwm is broken), which I have to play vidya with my few remaining friends.
Like st, dwm's almost unusable without extensions. Can't even swap windows around.
