Did it ever strike you that technology is amazing? It's completely out of this world. The fact that humans can do something like this is absolutely astonishing. Never in a thousdand years would you convince a Greek philosopher that something like this is possible. Never in a thousand years would you convince a Roman scholar that we will be able to do this.
Do you ever just gaze in awe that humans can produce something as advanced as a processor? It is incomprehensible and otherworldly. It is nothing short of fascinating and magical.
once you understand how it works then you come to realization that we aren't that far off from people who created fire with rocks desu
Caleb Miller
checked good on your for not taking the amazing for granted, OP it makes life a lot more fun
Adrian Murphy
agreed Also kinda makes you think that none of this shit has ever been achieved outside of a pure capitalist ecosystem, and I say this as a left-leaning person myself. Western capitalism is literally all we have to thank for the modern world.
Julian Collins
my computer engineering professor used to say that the invention of the CPU was bigger (in a sense of hard work) than the creation of the pyramids or any other structure created by humans.
Andrew Torres
dude weed lmao
Jace Barnes
Yeh but its kinda fuck all of us now without capitalisem people could just sit at home and invent shit Now we have the tech and the knowlege to do that.. Money competivity and capitalisem are dragging us back by meaningles and time consuming jobs.. We arent give the right resorces to become a healthy civilazations and prefer to be addict to wealth
Jace Edwards
It was for u
Aiden Thompson
fpbp
Aiden Smith
Technically we just made those rocks think.
Asher Bell
Modern technology was only possible because of reverse engineering of the alien technology that crashed in Roswell 1947.
Jordan Sanchez
>without capitalisem people could just sit at home and invent shit
the transistor is the best human invention and penicillin is the best discovery
Levi Allen
Sure, but it wasn't like it was a single project like one pyramid is. There were tons and tons of different things that all were gradually developed and then assembled to create the CPU. I mean you need to mine the metals, refine them, manufacture the die, develop the math and so on.
Hell even pencil is probably a bigger invention because of how many different things go into it.
Mason Anderson
I know how it works, I still don't get how we actually got here.
Ian Nguyen
People would be sitting at home overdosing on drugs and sex instead.
Oliver Baker
Without captialism people would be ploughing fields and working in factories
Jackson Baker
keep flipping burgers to the rest of your life and ask yourself what i did worng?.. the big picture is that anybody can do that they just need time and money... when you take the luck and the Rhetoric skills out of it, anybody can contrib a new idea that will benefit all of us
Capitalism makes the economy work and without it it wouldn't be working so you'd be poor, not free to sit at home and do whatever you want
Caleb Jackson
Maybe but thay doing it anyway, at least those who care about more than one thing , will do it with the right tools.. and not get wasted inside worthless culture functions
Gabriel Stewart
top basedpilled
Benjamin Bennett
you are still going to die a slow painful death
call me when they fix that to talk about amazing
Robert Ward
Not really. Under both capitalism and socialism you need to be privileged to have access to the tools of innovation. Under socialism its likely that you would need to be part of a state university or state innovation program for access to these resources. Under capitalism if you have enough money for the tools, they are yours. In the US anybody in the upper quartile of income could basically do any innovation or invention they could want. I doubt that many people would have that ability under a socialized system.
Henry Bell
Are you fucking retarded? They had to do a bunch of different things to build the pyramids too. It wasn't a single project either. Stop trying to play doubles advocate
Joseph Ward
Dying isn't the problem, it's the amount of youthful time.
Ryder Jenkins
the pyramids was a single construction project cpus were a technology built ontop of many other, independently invented technologies
Oliver Smith
>Do you ever just gaze in awe that humans can produce something as advanced as a processor? It is incomprehensible and otherworldly. It is nothing short of fascinating and magical. And all this power is used to watch funny memes on facebook
Thomas Russell
>Without captialism people would be ploughing fields and working in factories Without Russian Socialism, American astronauts could not get to the space station right now
Bentley Adams
are you implying that a space station is something worth having and not a tremendous waste of money
Brayden Diaz
No. 99.999% of people, you included, are completely worthless and contribute nothing to humanity except for flipping burgers to keep the 99.999% useless people alive. Even given infinite resources you would never accomplish anything as far as technological progress goes because you simply lack the mental capacity.
Julian Sanders
>reddit the post Fucking off yourself right fucking now faggot
Matthew Reyes
>you
Caleb James
>pyramids was (sic) a single construction project >cpus were a technology built ontop of many other, independently invented technologies rock quarries, tools to cut, shape and move the rocks, cultural structures to convince people to not revolt from their rock moving lifestyles, math to prove the build is possible, etc.
Connor Rivera
I feel like you're intentionally missing the point here
Easton Smith
>Capitalism makes the economy work capitalism destroying our economy by exploiting the masses in senseless works by washing their minds with proprietary culture
There is only one way to win capitalism
And this is forever and take more than the competition. These are not good laws
Technological or cultural progress
Jace Brooks
Unabomber was right
Ian Jackson
No, just calling you out on your bullshit
Brandon Thompson
the pyramids were a single construction project the cpu wasn't
John Rodriguez
fuck off commie
Camden Brooks
Not by your logic
Mason Gray
>exploiting the masses in senseless works by washing their minds with proprietary culture that's not inherent to captialism, that's a result of the greedy nature of humans and the material wealth brought on by captialism
William Nelson
So they only made 1 cpu?
Noah Fisher
People like you should be executed.... which you eventually will be once you vote for communism because that is what communism always leads to.
People need to get a basic income from the state, so that they have time to live and work on their projects. There is no reason that every citizen in a Western country or hope that a third world will not receive a basic income from the state.
Bentley Ramirez
You mean jews.
Come on, you can say it, it doesnt hurt to acknowledge the trugh.
Yeah I agree, doesn't mean captialism is bad though
Jackson Cox
Do you think if pre 1900 people would see our technology now they would think it is magic?
Isaac Bell
OP: Technology is cool Jow Forums: NO HAHA FAGGOT KYS
Anthony Torres
>There is only one way to win capitalism No. Innovation makes you win capitalism. Producing things people want makes you win capitalism. There is a word for what you are describing which is "crony capitalism", capitalism that does not benefit anyone except the proprietor. But its disingenous to say all capitalism is crony capitalism, just as it is disngenuous to say that any regulation or laws is a violation of fundamental rights (as libertarians say).
Elijah Morgan
If you say so, Shlomo.
Kevin Williams
>capitalism destroying our economy by exploiting the masses
Every economic system barring "literally make everything yourself" exploits the masses. Its done so that the surplus value can be diverted into things like taxes which are used to pay for healthcare, infrastructure, development of new technology, defense and so on.
Lucas Wright
How have jews anything to do with it?
Jose Jones
They made tons of pyramids dude.
Caleb Reed
I find it extremely weird you are using "sic" notation for a quote on Jow Forums aka you're gay
Isaiah Allen
Did they only make 1 pyramid?
Jaxson Rivera
the 20th century brought lots of cool stuff, for example we can also create a mini sun on earth and kill people with it
Zachary Roberts
>Never in a thousdand years would you convince a Greek philosopher that something like this is possible. Never in a thousand years would you convince a Roman scholar that we will be able to do this. we're the same humans that they were just show it to them and they'll believe it, it'll be right in front of them
that there was such a collaborative effort was pretty amazing, but that's all it is really
Jacob Anderson
>none of this shit has ever been achieved outside of a pure capitalist ecosystem Moran
Lincoln Brooks
Yeah that's pretty neat to be honest. Im sure that those explosions are gonna end up causing alien civilizations to just go "Hey...what in the actual fuck are these blips we keep seeing. They make no fucking sense at all."
Easton Hall
Already tried and failed in every single communist regime. You can't motivate people by giving them more or less than their labor is worth. I get that you're upset about being a failure in life but that doesn't mean I should give up the value of my labor to support your useless burger flipping ass.
Kevin Nelson
That's because humans didn't make it. Technology is made by aliens.
Luis Hernandez
>Already tried and failed in every single communist regime no, in a communist regime you have to do your assigned job, that's completely different
Cooper Parker
but what about getting people to work just for working? It does not seem to you a waste that a someone will be working for 8-12 hours a day
Or learn nonsense for years just for
A stupid privilege
Think about how many opportunities have been foiled because of this approach
Jacob Thomas
>but what about getting people to work just for working? that's not captialism
Grayson Cruz
Capitalism is about the efficient exchange of excessive resources for depleted ones. In most cases the excess is money and is exchanged for time / labor from employees. It doesn't have to be this way however and at its core is the common barter system.
Austin Turner
im working a fulltime as front dev I just hate my job and i have my own ideas Which do not include customer service and advertising
In my opinion this is the cancer of modern society and I see it spreading and it hurts me
It is not better to invest resources in better things
Jose Wood
the manufacturing process to create integrated circuits was pioneered by British scientists.
Lincoln Nguyen
Work just for working? You mean you wouldn't care if you got compensated at all for your work? That's literally maximum exploitation dude.
Just because you have basic income doesn't mean you as a person don't have the right to barter away your work for compensation. Its always a more optimal economic strategy to work as much as you can and try to maximize your potential in order to be useful to others so that they'll reward you for it.
Only people who get pissed about this are the kind of people who can't spend 8 hours at work and actually do productive shit.
Bentley Hughes
Try to work in 2 jobs and study while doing so
And tell me if it's effective
Not all of them were born to stable families, and some of us pay a price for this and we enter the pit that is closed and we can not go out for it.
Those who do, except for luck, are required to develop sociopathies that exist in a very convenient way in which the world works and it is unnecessary
Ian Richardson
It never starts off that way. A free market falls prey to communism and people who were producing value before, say farmers, get paid equally regardless of how much they produce but a lot less than their productivity is actually worth. This universally demotivates all of them simultaneously and leads to famine = millions of dead people.
That is why I said that people like you need to be executed. You are inherently evil or too stupid for your own good.
Alexander Foster
Working as much as you can and working more than you're able aren't the same thing. Obviously you'll run into exhaustion at some point. My point is that while you think its pointless to work 8-12 hours a day, plenty of people can actually do that. There are tons of jobs were you can clock insane amounts of hours every day if you want to. Like if you're a lawyer you can work tons of hours. If you're in welding there are plenty of places where you can clock in at 6am and leave at 8 pm if you feel like it.
Joseph Rivera
>Not all of them were born to stable families, and some of us pay a price for this and we enter the pit that is closed and we can not go out for it.
Your genes and lineage is inherently shit. If it weren't you wouldn't be in an unstable family. As said before, even if given unlimited resources you would amount to nothing.
You are a cancerous parasite, a drain on society.
Samuel Morgan
Except Greek and Roman philosophers predicted subatomic particles and that one day humans would be able to manipulate them as they manipulate the bricks in a building. The pre-christian Romans would probably have the least problem accepting and adapting to modern technology.
Sebastian Ward
>A free market falls prey to communism literally never happened countries only become communist through force, because it's a fucking stupid idea that people wouldn't naturally accept on their own accord But yeah, you can call people stupid and say they need to be killed without even knowing what you're talking about
Exactly how are you better than anyone else here? The air of smug elitism in all your posts is fucking embarrassing and speaks volumes about who you are.
Post your body and degree so everybody can laugh at the fat loser you are.
Gavin Moore
You have no idea what you're talking about. You know nothing about labor laws. Fuck off, stop spreading misinformation.
Kayden Phillips
cpus are so basic though, they're just huge abacuses made by printing special ceramic in layers they're so easy to understand even a human could do it. meanwhile we can't even understand the first things about our own brains outside of trial-and-error lab studies
Nolan Rodriguez
Technological advance is an inherently iterative process. One does not simply take sand from the beach and produce an 8700k. We use crude tools to fashion better tools, and then our better tools to fashion more precise tools, and so on. Each minor refinement is a step in the process, and all of the steps must be taken.
>The Bolshevik government had requisitioned supplies from the peasantry for little or nothing in exchange. This led peasants to drastically reduce their crop production.
I'm not an idiot communist. Mechanical engineering, 6' 158lbs. I'm better than you. Cancer.
Justin Lewis
158 lbs at 6' LMAO Come over here and let daddy clap those little white cheeks. Give me that boipussy.
>Mechanical engineering >I'm better than you hehe why do they all have the EXACT same complex
Blake Barnes
I dont have a problem with that people can work whatever and much time they wish i support that... the thing i talke about is that Everyone should have an equal opportunity regardless of the economic situation because then ideas and solutions that our world realy needs now are missing.. fuck u cunt you dont even know me So you do not really have a reason or a good source to judge me. What I declare here is for everyone's benefit
Does not sound right to you?
So you're probably the real parasite
Ian Cox
because they suffer from SEVERE inferiority complexes.
Mason Wright
Never relax around the evil that is communism. Unless you want to see mountains of dead corpses and inflation that makes toilet paper more valuable than money.
Buddy you can't even bench 1pl8, get the fuck off the internet and go exercise/eat. The internet has given you Elliot Rodger syndrome and your parents have given you terrible genes. Go do something about it.
