In this thread we post programs that are obscure or just your personal faves, amazingly useful or just improve the windows OS experience No links needed unless requested since you can google the names of the software We will compile a NEW master list eventually. Browser plugins can be included in the thread Starting with a few randoms off the top of my head
Process Hacker 2 >This free process manager totally obliterates windows default manager, and supports replacement of it so that it appears whenever you try to open task manager. Note: Install ALL plugins & get sandboxie. gifCam >Records selected areas on the screen as gif, pic related btw (Freeware) webmCam >Same as gifCam, but makes webm files (Freeware) ShareX >free, is the ultimate uploader, offering endless configuration & uploading anything to share becomes as easy as a single click PowerArchiver >Amazingly customization, configurable & in my opinion best "archive" handling solution (shareware, but can easily get it "free") Registar Registry Editor >Incredible registry editor, vastly superior to regedit (costs money, but can easily get it "free") CCleaner Technician Edition >Most people know about this program, enough said IObit Uninstaller >Although it costs money, easily obtained free, it offers amazing features such as mass uninstalling & cleanup of left over files Betternet >An extremely simple VPN, less known, flawlessly cracked so you can have a quick working VPN when needed GatherProxy Premium >a paid for program, but cracked flawlessly, it can scrape for & find thousands of public proxies to quickly have a proxy list, such as "Best Proxy Switcher for FF" Proxifier >Advanced proxy client, can chain proxies & give total control over every program, websites, etc & what they use to connect. Not free, but the "portable" public key has never been blocked. Hex Editor Neo Ultimate >The best & most advanced hex editor, not free, you know the drill, it is "free"
File2Folder, I'm not at my pc but I think that's what its called. Basically adds a right click context menu option that will move any file into a folder of the same name. Handy for Plex naming.

>you can become a ccleaner technician.
ConEmu >actually convenient terminal emulator for windows, can integrate custom shells into folder context menu MSYS2/Cygwin >actually decent command line tools to use with the above. + set of development tools if you want AutoHotkey >multipurpose desktop automation tool / programming language. but honestly 90% of it's uses are just some dumb autoclickers Everything >instant search of any file on an NTFS filesystem SumatraPDF >PFD / DJVU / EPUB reader without bloat. insanely fast compared to alternatives if a bit too yellowish. SpeedCrunch >calculator for those too lazy to use python cli
Windows Performance Analyzer shows a LOT of useful info about the activity of your computer like resource usage by process / method call. It can help troubleshoot a problems like freezes or bad performance. I don't see it ever mentioned here.
> >IObit Uninstaller You sure about this? I really liked this but I uninstalled this when I found out some of the backdoor things IObit does. Not sure if they've been fixed but I didn't like it back then. Then again if it's just the uninstaller, it might be fine.
