His death to this day still has a lack of information and what seems to have happened is that he was somehow harassed by the cop that was trying to arrest him and got killed for "muh disrespecting authorities".
Also don't take my word for it, as is said, his death lacks information and it was surprising to me how little the Debian community cared about it. I know he no longer was involved with the Debian project but god damn, the man created the thing.
Also check the web archive of his Twitter before his death. His Twitter has been deleted from what I recall.
