I actually feel bad for Ian. His divorce with his wife and mental illness were major contributing factors to his suicide. He also worked on Open Solaris which was really cool. Feels bad that such a talented guy had to suffer so much. I still use both Debian and Open Indiana regularly, so I guess his legacy lives on in his software.
