How do we do that?

if you can get your degree without significant hardship and/or mental effort, you're wasting your money and time

I got a software development internship this summer and they’ve let me stay indefinitely and be part time while i’m in school.

If I graduate and apply to other software jobs (i’ll have a year experience at this point, with a CS degree) will they make me do whiteboard shit again, or will they focus on asking me about what I was doing in the year?

Really don’t want to deal with leetcode/cracking the coding interview again.

>Money
I'm only wasting my time until global warming kills us all anyways

>Look for internships
>internships require 10 years of experience and a PhD

For some you can apply anyways. My first internship when I was an undergrad said "masters /PhD" on the application but I still got it eventually.

I wish these types of images still worked for me. I miss them since becoming a filthy phoneposter

>Currently in second year of school with CS major.

How fucked am I (even though work is paying mostly for it)?

no internships yet? Ouch. You better start your own startup then or else you'll be left behind.

>apply
>HR doesn't see bachelors
>pic related

>requiring an internship
>Not just going for cushy gubment job with decent starting pay and the ability to do basically 0 work
Wut

>being left behind
Maybe... Maybe not. So many startups happen and millions fail every time.

>not have bachelors
>be underqualified
>have bachelors

Get an associate's degree then, user.

there really is no winning, is there?

Is everyone on Jow Forums a programmer? Why is seemingly nobody on here in IT or InfoSec?

You voted for Trump, right? Stop complaining.

How does that thumbnail thing work?

You should stop caring about what the requirements say. If you meet half of them z it's already fine.

Need IT experience to get an IT job

That falls under not having bachelors
Fag

>anyways

>4th year
>literally never had an internship
Lol im fucked

The fuck is this? Is this the state of Jow Forums now? Too retarded to post a reply you quote a singular word

>get master's and start phd
>can only get shitty internships in field I hate

What exactly does one do during an internship? Are they always paid?

>Ph.D. in Math
>any job I want
>$300k starting

Attached: mathphd.jpg (640x427, 34K)

you need connections not a degree.

>are they always paid
no, but at that point you're basically a slave and shouldn't do that without a good reason

>get internship
>need to apply for security clearance
>need 10,000 references because you're a student and have moved 8 times in the past 3 years
>get denied because you're not a chad social butterfly

This but this applies to a lot of jobs in a lot of industries.

gamma

it really depends on who's hiring, it's not really unheard of interviews testing your knowledge like that even if you have 3+/5+ years of experience

Same brüdär

Lol learn your place, incel.

This. It's not sop much what you know as your ability to learn and stick to a commitment.

Threadly reminder that Every HR faggot deserves to be gassed

>Believing the bachelors meme
Kek'd

>retarded

I had a 30/hr internship freshman summer and am a sophomore now with a 50/hr internship with all housing and travel/moving expenses paid in SF.

The field isn't the problem. These people and you are just probably retards.
