When will receivers start adding XLR out?

Come one it's the year of our lord 2019 already

Never, dork. XLR provides no benefit.

Rca to xlr

real XLR is awesome, literally hissless

>why doesn't have that only me and 4 other people on the planet want
gee I wonder why

Why?
Are you trying to speak into your receiver?
For what purpose?

Idiot, do you even know how XLR works? Ever wondered why studio grade hardware never uses Cinch? The OP is right, but then again, recievers are shitty most of the time.

Some of them do.

only on the ampless processors

Well if you want RCA or XLR outputs you are going to amplify shit somewhere else anyway, so amp section does not make sense anyway.

but i want to mix and match powered and unpowered speakers

why don't we just have speakers with amps built in that take a digital signal?
that way you don't have big analog antennas running across your room

Just use bluetooth or Wifi lmao

>separate ground terminal
why?

Onkyo had one. It got discontinued though. I bet you can guess why...

I can’t, actually

There are such speakers on the market and you can buy them easily.

u mean powered speakers? those exist user you retard

Because it is a consumer grade product, the most in/out it has is HDMI and RCA, while professional ones doesn't even have such, having 6.5mm and XLR.

i guess, i haven't seen them before

>literally hissless

You mean like any other properly grounded system? It’s a cable. Show me some measurements that of real systems that see benefit from using XLR.

>b-but muh balanced CMRR
Shut up faggot. You don’t live in a flocking factory.

You just don't need to think about shit and don't care about cable length with balanced. What's not to like?

You also don’t need to do that when you use the toslink out.

Whats a good value receiver and why

Why not get monoblocks or regular power amp for the speakers that aren't and then just use a non-amplified processor?

XKR are too big, they will use balanced ""stereo"" Jack instead.
But yeah, they should use balanced output for "pre out".
Not for high level out tho. For those, they should use speakon, but again the connectors are way too big for an AV receiver.
