I work in a coffee shop and I always peek to see what people are doing on their laptops. I think out of my four months being there i've only seen two or three linux users, I've definitely seen a lot more porn however.
>when a cute trap passes by
So never?
I got 6 months free in a co-working space in uni and I go there a lot.
spending all day programming in a cafe with headphones and a grande coldbrew is quite comfy tbqhngl

The cafe is unironically a pretty good place to go programming. They are usually open early, so I used to go in before work and spend a couple hours on my projects.
Not being at home helps to change your mindset and you begin to treat it like another office. One where you actually get stuff done.
Work occasionally at coffee shop when I’m restless at home. Almost always keep work at home though.
>MacOSX for productivity, Linux in VM for learning, Windows on dual boot for HDL IDE.
What are you learning exactly about linux?
The file topography (what is /etc /var /tmp etc.)?
Are you trying to figure out bash or other shells?
>me in the green shorts
who here Starbucks porcelain cup?
la creatura...
>Not being at home helps to change your mindset and you begin to treat it like another office. One where you actually get stuff done.
Working at Starbucks has unironically allowed me to work on personal projects better.
I live by one and it has shitty internet and blocks port 22 but it has allowed me to work and get stuff done more.
Also cute barista girl that is mandated to ask about my day feels like an IRL visual novel
What's the point of the porcelain cup
So you carry that shit around with you?
>What's the point of the porcelain cup
>So you carry that shit around with you?
So I can drink coffee at home while doing home office
This is a thread for people that actually go out of the house user
You're thinking of Reddit user, Jow Forums is strictly a no leavie housie forum, it's in the rules (invisible ink).
traps aren't trannies
Your right they are men larping as women
Back to your tranny hole
That's what tethering is for.
>When a dude walks into a Starbucks and opens up a laptop with kali Linux on it
I personally quite enjoy working in other people's offices/cafes, though since I have a chunk of a laptop the battery life is laughable and that's my main concern when flex working like that
>t. 1337 400 lb hacker known as the Jow Forums
> the hacker known as 4channel
>that dude that opens his laptop and has a themed Jow Forums open and replies to a thread with an anime image
>has a smug anime girl folder on his desktop and /a/ open on another tab
>catch dude in uni with Jow Forums open
>it's on Jow Forums posting some zoomer story and is trying to get his life together by getting "rich" by going into Comp sci
>has a C programming book
>I turn coffee into code fags
>pacman -Syu
what the fuck, what does -Syu do? i've never seen it before.

It wrecks your arch installation typically
im surprised he didn't get decked in the face by the chick. especially black chicks they don't sit there and cry about this kind of shit, they will get aggressive and deck you with an elbow

>what is a VPN
I deliver to starbucks daily.
People actually code in the stores. People actually bring their desktop. People actually come to starbucks on a daily basis to chill, I recognize the same people every day just sitting down.

thanks for sharing
You're all cancer
thanks for sharing again
i guess starbucks has become a kind of library
i could get behind the thought of being more productive somewhere that isnt your home but i dont like starbucks
>not going to local coffee shops and connecting to wireguard on a raspberry pi at home to avoid botnet wifi
i have a home server
a lot of public wifi ISPs like google block port 22 but my home server's ssh is on port 2222. The only open port on my house is port 2222 so I can easily and remotely tunnel and ssh and scp into my home's network from anywhere and all the traffic is encrypted by default so the only traffic on my computer at any given time is just encrypted traffic on port 2222.
Real comfy security knowing anyone sniffing the air is just seeing encrypted ssh packets
I'd rather have a small PC and monitor to lug around, than a throttled housefire laptop.
My apartment's on top of a fancy gastropub. Like literally a 15 second walk down the stairs. It's super comfy to work in but I do have to buy drinks
Yeah, he could've easily wound up in jail from stuff like that.
are any of you at the point where you can go to a cafe and say "the usual" and they know what to get
I like taking my used laptop from 2000 with me to the library, doing some assembly, and then watching everyone staring at me worryingly because they're retards that legitimately think I'm hacking something when I'm really just writing hello, world tier programs.
>watching everyone staring at me worryingly because they're retards that legitimately think I'm hacking something when I'm really just writing hello, world tier programs.
i do this shit on the plane
>leaving your moms basement

you're an amateur. next level: they know what you want as soon as you come through the door. next next level: they know what time you always arrive, so your espresso is waiting for you when you arrive
>walk into cafe
>barista staff anticipated my arrival and already knows the precise dosage of caffeine required to produce 0.6 oz of pure ATP and glucose within the next 3 hours
>a dart shoots into my neck directly injecting a cocktail of 5 espresso shots and a mL of insulin into my blood stream
>$3.20 is automatically taken out of my account
>walk into cafe
>seats have a needle sticking out at the rim that injects into your thigh as an IV bag steadily flows in raw battery acid into my artery
>pulls out my laptop and DEAUTH the entire cafe
is this really how Jow Forums handles the outside world
you're pathetic
i just got insulted on an anonymous image board!
