Only children and immature adults listen to music
Real adults dint have time to listen to garbage while they do productive work, it only distracts and makes your performance degrade
Grow up
Green Day :)
Is that cum on her leg
>acts high and mighty
>is posting on Jow Forums instead of working
>is posting deltarune no less
user...I-

I like the "random piano noise" aspect of it. It's not too distracting.
>Calls other children and immature

Oh the ironing.
YGYL threads on /gif/ because I have special autism that stops me remembering any songs/artists.
Mostly industrial hardcore these days.

programming music is a myth.
die furfag
No vocals trance and shit. Keeps the distractions down.
One of my most productive days was done listening to "oh my precious time" by superfly on repeat for like 6 hours. I kinda hated the song for a while month after that.
actually, it has been scientifically proven that people who dislike cute shit are more likely to be neuroatypical
Album?
It changes all the time, but calm music with no lyrics are my go-to. I've been listening to Mozart, Strauss, and JS Bach as of late to study the RHCSA material with.
Telephone Awoo
Lol same
Various electronic genres, trance mainly.
lofi hip hop radio | beats to chill/study/relax
As well as a few hundred gibibytes of doujin music.
Do I count as an "immature adult" if I'm a 24-year-old man in the middle of a year-long grieving break before my too-long-delayed final year of university after which I will finally get a job? I'm a NEET with way too much free time on my hands, but I'll only be a NEET for the rest of this year, then it's back to school and then off to work. And I'm not doing this by choice, I'm literally so psychologically incapacitated I can't function academically. In other words, yeah I'm a total fucking loser, but it's not my fault I swear! Shit just happens to me! It wasn't my fault my dad stuck it in me at age 4 and it wasn't my fault my mom died last year, sure it may have been my fault there were a few times throughout my education where I let my continued journey toward CSA recovery ruin my academic performance and it may have been my fault that I let my mom's death ruin my academic performance last year too but can you really say with all honesty that an average person saddled with the same burdens would fare any better, i mean maybe you personally have been through worse and dealt with it better but that just means you're stronger than I am and it's all my fault *relative to you*, that still doesn't mean it's all my fault *relative to the average person*
oldschool jungle and hardcore
youtube.com
that's about it
most of the people I've ever heard say "grow up" for enjoying things generally acted like literal whining children who didn't get their way
Do not use Soos in vain

unbased
btw listen to my new album Loveless from my band My Bloody Valentine
Hating on Nanahira is extremely unbased.
>im mature for my age tho
Best goy.
I don't see the point of these threads, it's not like anybody will even bother checking one another's taste like in /mu/
but anyways, Sweet Trip - Velocity Design Comfort and some Stereolab albums like Dots and Loops or Cobra and Phases Group Play Voltage in the Milky Night, sometimes InnerSpeaker by Tame Impala
Don't use /mu/ and taste in the same sentence.
>deltarune poster
>posts without doing any research
Depending on the type of music and the work it can enhance your performance, ambient music can help you focus on more complex tasks, upbeat music with simple structures are better for mundane and repetitive tasks (mainly as a mood enhancement). Tracks with complex structures aren't actually that good at helping you keep focus compared to others, so the classical music thing is a meme, although it may still enhance your productivity just as a mood enhancer.

huh?
>falling for bait
user...
/mu/ has shit taste.
>falling for bait
If I "fell" for the bait you'd see me calling him a retard and a faggot, my post is here to provide everyone with evidence that music can enhance your performance in case there are people who actually think the contrary. l2context
Shibayan Records is one of the best circles.
Alstroemeria Records is amazing too, especially the Dancehall series.
Personally I listen to a mix of chill electronic, indie rock, and Touhou Project music. And sometimes classical.

>doing mental gymnastics to convince yourself you didn't waste your time
user...
I know, but what I wanted to convey was that /mu/ threads of people asking what other people listen to while doing X usually get, although they're entry level shit, less uninteresting and bland posts in general. i think...
Animal Collective mostly and this sometimes
>NPC amerimutt
I usually just have a radio station on. Completely depends on my mood what kind of station is playing though. From deephouse mixes, to 80's/90's. Sometimes even news radio. The talk somehow distracts the part of my brain that usually makes it hard to focus.
I don't know why but I thought Jow Forums was into nigger music and normalfag shit, but looks like that's not the case.

>he thinks I didn't realize I was wasting my time
user, I'm on Jow Forums, everything I do here is a waste of time, that's also not relevant to my post nor does it constitute mental gymnastics. You need to lurk for a few more years before posting again.
nightcore
>not post nightcore
Ofc it's a fucking nightcore
dude, you seriously replied to a shitpost someone put 0 effort in acting all mighty and smug for knowing random facts nobody cares about on a siberian dog trading forum. if that's not depressing I don't know what is.
I would say the fact you are replying to the person who replied to said post is even more depressing.
I didn't act high or mighty, you might be autistic if you think that's the case.
>CELESTIAL WHITE NOISE
The only reason I clicked your shitty thread was me misreading this as
>CELESTIA WHITE HORSE
>random facts nobody cares about
user literally posted facts relevant to the discussion at hand you absolute mong, go back to /mu/
fuck, I didn't see coming that a shitposter would pretend to post something intelligent just to bait people who reply to people who reply in a 3 digit iq way to people that are obviously pretending to be retarded. this really is some advanced 4 dimensional trascendental shitposting, kudos to that retard for that.
>thinking having shit reading comprehension means being autistic
nevermind then, you don't know any random facts at all. you still wouldn't be fun at parties though
>4 dimensional trascendental shitposting
>you still wouldn't be fun at parties though
If it weren't for alcohol you'd be 100% correct.

Mostly vidya soundtracks.

I had CELESTIAL WHITE NOISE - 10 HOURS [HD] open while doing a typing test to see if I could beat my record. I got triple digits but I don't think the music helped.
This sounds like something I would have posted in 2010 to seem special and "mature"
> The Beatles
> Fatboy Slim

Nice, I have the entire collection downloaded on my PC, been listening to some cytokine recently.
Mostly I listen to Touhou stuff from various circles, other than that it's TBM and Infected Mushroom.

Shibayan tends to over-arrange thing, his arrangements usually ends up being repetitive and excessively long, especially his later Nu-Disco stuffs. Still, his noise/house stuffs were good, especially the Justice pastiches.

usually i listen to music when i'm doing programming-related things, like researching stuff/writing documentation/etc. but if i'm actually writing code i either don't have any music playing at all or i have a single song on repeat for hours and hours on end. i can listen to calmer music while programming but if it's a track like the one below i can't focus at all it slaps too much, i guess it's good for doing competitions
this song slaps: youtube.com
I want to listen I really do it.. but it makes my balls crawl up into my stomach :(
Generally some electronic music for easy sections and silence for when it got difficult.
