So! Is there a way for me to download images from a (not quite sure what the term is) right-click disabled site? The images are in perfect resolution on the screen, but there is no way to download them.
I tried opening the developer's console and finding the images that way, but all that was there were the thumbnails.
In Firefox Click on the 'i' button to the immediate left of your search bar. This should open a small information bubble. Click on the arrow to the right inside of said bubble, then click on the 'more information' button. This should open a small window, on the top of said window is a media button.
Clicking on that will list all of the displayed media on the current open page. From there just right-click and save on the images in the list.

I apologize sincerely for being a retard, but control I just brings up some bookmarks thing on the left side of my screen.
on firefox hold shift and the right-click menu will be unblocked
Jose Fisher
Hey it's the only way to get access to certain manga. I don't plan on staying subscribed for long.
The right click thing let's me download the web page but even that won't open. I can right click but the image isn't registering as an image, if that makes sense. It just says save page or whatever.
Eli Taylor
Another problem, but if I could solve this one I would be in the clear.
This stupid red bar comes down and covers part of the image any time I switch focus from the page. If that wasn't there I could have much more freedom to take screenshots. Is there a way I can disable this thing?
This worked, thanks a ton. I have an option to select all, and it makes the image I want to download blue, but then there's no option to just save it. What can I do? (the grey shit is blue)

As much as I'd love to fuck over fakku, noone will walk you through this on Jow Forums, user
Levi Gomez
Why is that? Just curious.
Bentley Flores
Base64 isn't a hash, it's a data encoding format in ascii.
Ayden Wright
Jow Forums is lazy
Samuel Martin
View the page as source for fuck's sake, find file, open it, save it. How computer illiterate is this board?
Sebastian Nelson
They seem kind and helpful to me.
Matthew Cooper
It doesn't work that way with the method they are using to render images. Ironically, you're the one that's illiterate.
>The images are in perfect resolution on the screen, but there is no way to download them.
If the image fits on the screen you can screen cap it; screen cap the region if it's smaller than your screen. If it's bigger than your screen firefox can capture the whole web page, but that might not work on that sort of site.
Daniel Martinez
For the images to fit on one screen my monitor would have to be at least 3 feet high. What the fuck
As far as capping the whole page, it's one of those pages that expands as you scroll down, I think.
> posts nothing to demonstrate his computer illiteracy How the fuck are you this dangerously incompetent? Post links to the fucking site, you useless cunt. This isn't the entire code, illiterate.
Eli White
by the way, this should be a workaround but neither works:
I'll worship you if you can figure out how to download these pictures without butchering them.
Angel Jenkins
This thread is an absolute fucking dumpster fire full of morons that can't even manage to save a lousy picture. One genius calling BASE64 a hash. Top kek. You people really are dumb.
Jack Anderson
Where's your solution asshole?
Brandon Stewart
> needs an account to log in Top kek
Isaiah Gomez
oh yeah lol
Anthony Cox
Already gave it, but you've just confirmed that you're illiterate so you wouldn't be able to understand anything anyway.
Brody Scott
Oh, you're the retard who thinks I can just find the images under media.
Joshua Anderson
No, you didn't give a solution, you stupid, lying mongoloid.
Here user, here's an actual solution: Open the inspector (ctrl+shift+i), click on network, make sure "all" is hilghighted (click on it), scroll the reader up and down, you should see a GET request for the image, you can the right click and save them.
Ethan Nelson
To clarify, you need to move between images in order to see the GET request, if you have any trouble let me know (using Firefox on my end, chrome should have a similar "Network" tool in the Inspector)
James Lopez
I can only save it as a .har file. I don't know what that is.
Those are only the stylesheets, the "type" should be image. You may want to consider reloading the page or clearing your cache so you can see the GET requests again. Pic is what it looks like on my end for reference.
nvm, seems that I underestimated the task If seems that page uses multiple pieces of the image and glues them together with JS I guess the only way to get the highres image is to download all pieces and merge them together with hugin, that unfortunately is a lossy process
How severe is the loss and is the hugin thing something a computer novice could do?
Aiden Martinez
Install gentoo
Easton Rogers
It works for some manga but not others, he may have changed the way content is distributed in later releases and for non-free releases. The one you are currently viewing seems to be pieced together with JS, I got lucky with the one I was browsing it seems.
Jonathan Torres
Loss is the same as converting a jpg to jpg aka non-noticeable, hugin has a bit of a learning curve and requires A LOT of ram for very high resolution images, so basically you want to create a panorama with hugin and manually select which piece of the image glues which, that process could be semi-automated if part of the image piece overlapped, alternatively you can manually stitch them together on gimp but that requires alighting the pieces by pixel
Tyler Young
Just use fucking firefox Disable dom.event.contextmenu.enabled, no more right click hijack ever. Some shitty webapps will break like google docs but fuck them, not worth losing the right click.
You can't right-click and save images on the site even doing that, read the thread next time.
It seems it still ends up rendering the image using a base64 string, so you could use a script to save the image instead, I'm trying to find a solution right now for this
Evan Lopez
Alright, I think I've found a way to do this, I can't see the premium subscription content so I have no way to be sure if it will work site-wide. In firefox:
This will only work if the image is actually pieced together and then rendered as an a full image, if the script is simply building the image without actually doing so it won't
One hell of an anti-piracy feature if it doesn't, I guess Jacob doesn't give a shit if people are able to save the content they're subscribed for.
Ayden King
That means they don't want you to do that then. You could exploit the "analog hole" and just screencap the whole page. The easiest way to get it all, including the parts you'd have to scroll up/down for, is the camera button on the F12 bar in Firefox. Or you could figure out some way to automatically download the images, figure out if those blocks are always assigned to the same locations or randomized + sent with some "key" to their locations, then put together a program to reconstruct the original image.
I use this to download images from from sites which don't allow right clicking. I can't check it because of no subscription, but I guess it'll work
Christopher Lee
Neither of these solutions will work, using any screenshot addon will just net you a blank page, the only way aside from the mentioned hugin is to manually screencap the page using your OS' capture utilities.
>t. I tried
Austin Campbell
Here's the answer for you >Check the name of the comic >Find it on another site (exhentai for instance) >Stop using shitty sites that do this shit to prevent downloads.
>implying you can find even a fraction of fakku's content on exhentai You don't know what you're talking about, please stop embarassing yourself. Fakku literally gets releases and translates them, with their new anti-piracy measures a lot of their content is only going to be found on their site and nowhere else.
Hunter Davis
Medfag here. I used to save thot images from tinder. This year I tried it again and it didnt work. So I was searching where firefox would save them. It saves all the files without extensions in some folder called entries. All I have to do is run a shell script that changes all to jpeg and I could view them then.
Owen Sanders
Another solution is using a combination of a scrollable desktop program (eg, ScrollableDesktop, InfiniteScreen) and a screenshot program (eg, Greenshot, ShareX, Lightscreen). The idea is that you:
Extend the virtual desktop to be larger than your image. Resize the browser (in the scrollable desktop program) so that the whole image is visible. Wait until all the tiles load, and screenshot the window (not the screen - that usually captures the visible desktop only). Crop the rest of the screenshot out with an image editor.
These jews also send tons of copyright claims, so many of fakku translations are blocked on panda. Meme moral degeneration manga (Emergence) is example of that.
