rockboxed benjie t6 also known as agptek rocker >but agptek exactly, stock fw is shit flash rockbox on it
Christopher Kelly
>tfw have clip but its flash memory is going bad and I can't (without spending too much time than I deem worth) make it boot from memory card because it's so bad already
William Davis
can this model run rockbox or is it just the rocker?
Joshua Stewart
The better question is should you box the rock or rock the boxer?

Brody Howard
agptek rocker = rebranded benjie t6 internals are the same and yes that model can be rockboxed
Brayden Wright
ah, sorry for not being clear: I mean the model in the OP image. I believe it's called the G15
James Perez
probably not only a couple of chink players support rockbox, iirc the t6/rocker is the only benjie/agptek that does, and not entirely (you lose bluetooth and dsd playback)
Asher Ramirez
bluetooth is completely unnecessary for me, so no worries there. can you point me towards any models from other brands that do have rockbox support?
Can you install rockbox over the modern Sansa Clip? The old ones are >100 bucks
Hunter Ross
no, the jam and sport models are both crap

T6 A SSSSSSSSSSSSHIT There's a damaged batch out there so just a little warning, if you don't mind noise floor, shittier battery life and absurd customization then go for it.
ipod 5.5 gen w/ wolfson DAC chip + rockbox. Find the ipod used on ebay for $50 that doesn't hold a charge. Split it open, replace battery, and install flash memory + adapter.
I would say stalk ebay for a Ipod 5th Gen Enhanced.
It can be a few dollars more to get a refurbished model but it is the best sounding and with some modding you can make it take 1tb storage with 50,000 song limit

I got one for $20 at Target

Not OP, but without physical buttons listening to shit on a phone is just not comfortable. Sending a hand into the pocket or to the belt line to press a button without skipping a beat on whatever you're doing is leagues better than stopping, pulling out the phone, turning on the screen and tapping the appropriate on-screen button.

>not being an ironic weeb go be a chinky shill elsewhere
Robert Fisher
>What is a cord control? >What are these buttons on my bluetoof headset good for? Neck yourself.
Jordan White
OP here, I splurged and just bought a NIB clip zip
Ethan Foster
AGPtek a shit, the battery in mine expanded and killed both my screen and the back glass
Seconding the iPod 5.5g, it's bretty gug with more than decent sound quality albeit a bit on the slowish side You can use it on the various speaker docks too!
