Firefox Privacy

How good is Firefox in terms of privacy? I've read that it has lots of spyware. What's Jow Forums's opinion on this?

Just use your own user.js
spyware.neocities.org/guides/firefox.html

It's been compromised by sjws

Use either github.com/intika/Librefox or Firefox with ghacks' or pyllyukko's user.js. Icecat and Waterfox are fine. That site calls 'checking for updates' a botnet, so take it with a grain of salt.

>I've read that it has lots of spyware
kill yourself you fucking imbecile

Firefox es malo

Just use Google Chrome

there should be browser general, because everyday there are like 3-5 (maybe more) threads about browsers.

Don't use the neocities website, it's obsolete by several years and is run by an absolute retard.

Use Tor Browser sans Tor today!

shut up Pablo

you can change your user agent, just follow the firefox privacy tips on the archlinux website.
Also, use the privacytools.io tips

What about firefox forks? Well, do they integrate security updates regularly?

Never use chrome. That piece of shit is compromised as hell.

Brave is for faggots.

That's what she said!
Get it? Because it's a female pronoun?

Multi account containers is a godsend for privacy.

about:config
toolkit.telemetry.enabled -- false
media.peerconnection.enabled - false
privacy.firstparty.isolate - true
geo.enabled - false
media.navigator.enabled - false
network.dns.disablePrefetch - true
network.prefetch-next - false
webgl.disabled - true

do Not use privacytools

This guy lists brave as privacy tool meaning he either got payed to do so or is a retard.

it's good, if you remove the testpilot from the addon whitelist

addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/ublock-origin/

>disable the option automatically update the search engines
>some time passes... (a day or a week)
>Amazon and Google in the search engines list again

I even tried to use pyllyukko userjs thinking that there might be an option to counter it but they still come back again... Doesn't anyone have this problem? I really hate this meme browser.

Search engines are updated every browser update.

So what's the point of giving that option?
I don't want Mozilla messing with my search engines wtf

>firefox
What's to stop me from copying a profile from SWIM's computer and logging into all their accounts? Is their a juicier/more compromising target on a computer?

Mozilla makes money with those predefined search engines, so you wont even edit them like in Chromium.

I'm sans perry

Firefox has tons of spyware, stick with Chrome

its garbage, use librefox
