Boomy bass, grainy treble, manufactured by a company that won't support it (forget about buying new earpads once yours are damaged), original MSRP put it as a more expensive product than headphones like the DT880, K702 or HD6XX which is just plain ridiculous. X2 is only worth it, if knowing all the caveats you still want it, at much reduced prices. If you see them at $300+ tell the seller to choke on sewage and die.

Doesn't need to be noise cancelling and no, I'm not at all an audiophile, but I can appreciate a good sounding pair of headphones.

I just bought a pair of Beyerdynamic DT 770 250-OHM version, and I need a headphone amp but I'm not sure what to get.

I'm looking to spend between $100-150 on one, but I don't know if I necessarily need one or not because I have a Pioneer DJM-300 which seems like it's powering the headphones fine(?); or is the headphone amp something that would hook into the DJM?

If somebody could provide me with some help I woild grestly appreciated it!

The build quality is actually fairly bad. Shit gets unglued and the cups become loose because of those retarded inside screws, and you can't even fix it.

K7XX is not bad by any means but the build quality is definitely where they cut corners. DT990 & DT880 are more solidly built with good soundstage but very bright. K7XX has more soundstage tho
