about three fifty

$64.00

250

>2019
>1440p
get a 4K poorfag

>he fell for the 4K meme
i'd get a 2K but i'm a gaymer so it's useless as of right now

300-400

Fuck off, useless. Either screen is physically too big or you have to scale which defeats the point.
4k only exists because apple was able to brainwash sheeple like you into believing they need it.

>4k
>apple
Brainlet

Apple popularized high resolution screens as their vagina TM displays.

100$ and free if its second hand.

LCD monitors are worthless trash even the 2500$ ones are really only worth 100$ after a year or 2

get a dell p2418d

>get a 4K poorfag
don't. I have a 4K 27'' LG and its great, but I still have to downscale it to 1440p to be able to read the shit.

So, only get 4k if its same price as 1440p or marginally more expensive. Otherwise just get a 1440p.

Less than 400USD, I suppose. 4K 31" can be acquired for 400 USD from Amazon.
Less than 300 euros if you're in Eurasia.

You downscale your resolution so that you can read instead of just increasing text size?
That's the most brainlet thing i saw this week.

200 for minimum ports, 60hz.
500 if you're concerned about refresh rate.

Just Scale down and stop being dumb. I have a 4k and I watch 4K content and play games in 4k that I can. All games that are too hard to run at 4k just get dropped to 1440p, best of both worlds

1440p 16:9 or 21:9?

2K

I'm on hackintosh. OS X does downscaling correctly.

4k 60hz downscaled to 2k 60hz

yikes

250~400 for 60hz IPS
and from 400+ for 144hz ips gaymer gear
1440p on a 2160p screen scales down like shit.

how will sub-HD material look on 4k or 1440p

that guy is just stupid. Windows absolutely does scaling of just elements while staying at 4k

This. IPS 144hz 1440p 27" ( you don't want larger) is around 400 , more than that with gsync tax. Last I checked the very best options are the Asus for GSync types, and the Samsung FreeSync 2 QLED for FreeSync

>you don't want larger
what if i want an ultrawide?

I want a 25" 1440p, what's a decent option?
No gayming features needed.

depends how good it is
an perfect ips panel 1080p monitor is worth more than even a crappy 4k one

Dell UltraSharp U2419HC

I got a Lenovo for 250, it has an uneven brightness though going from left to right. I think it's IPS glow, dunno but I stop caring after a while..

Oi, this was a year and a half ago though, should be cheaper but ((they)) keep prices high.
