Don't you get fingerprinted more easily with browsers that stand out more

>using android
what are you, poor???

It comes with fingerprinting protection

This shit is noticeably faster than Firefox or Chrome on Android. Brendan Eich must of did some high IQ JS tricks.

Just spoof the headers, duh.

Bromite, IceCat, or nothing in my op

It's brave browser.

I personally use tugabrowser though

I use to use Brave back when I fell for their crypto meme. Now, their ideals are too fickle and my trust was never not tarnished anyway

Is thread auto updating still broken?

It just shows up as Chromium, because its recompiled Chromium.

Testing latest official build

I think you chose the wrong image

Thread auto updating finally works again, so thats something.

Or this.

Stop shilling this garbage you fucking faggot
Every day we get one of these worthless threads

>Now, their ideals are too fickle and my trust was never not tarnished anyway
Well, there's nothing inherently negative in that article, but we're talking about mobile browsers. BAT has always been opt-in and I'm not sure if it even works on mobile. Either way, Inox, Iridium or Ungoogled-chromium take months to get updated or don't even compile half of the time on Linux. So, what other choices are there for desktop since we're talking about it too? They're planning to implement all Ungoogled-chromium patches as well.

fix the shitty ui then I'm in

Don't use it bc muh Brave token, use Bitcoin or it's a scam 100%.

if it start with crypto or blockchain, it's a scam

I constantly hop back and forth between Firefox, Chrome and Chromium.
V8 is just a charm when you access js heavy sites, though spidermonkey isn't bad either anymore.

these are both good for different purposes

>everyone on Jow Forums knows that BAT has always been opt-in
>still shitpost about it anyway any chance you get
github.com/brave/
I would really like to know where the scam is.

>there's nothing inherently negative in that article
How so? It seemed pretty blatantly bad to me. Like I referred to in my post, this article reveals that Brave has spyware that can't be removed, unlike even standard Firefox. Explain what you meant by this.
>but we're talking about mobile browsers
So? What difference does that make?
>Ungoogled-chromium take months to get updated half of the time on Linux.
First off, despite having no idea where your sourcing this issue, I'll say that there are plentiful distro binaries for Ungoogled-Chromium, so that inconvenience factor is null.
>So, what other choices are there for desktop since we're talking about it too? They're planning to implement all Ungoogled-chromium patches as well.
I'm sorry, but I think the watchdog comparison is pretty accurate: spyware.neocities.org/articles/browsers.html
They all do basically the same thing with basically the same performance and features, so why not use the most botnet striped options?

Stupid drumpftard fuck outta here with your stupid drumpftard browser

Impeach

>How so? It seemed pretty blatantly bad to me
Everything negative in that article can be turned off. You have read the article, right?
>but we're talking about mobile browsers
>So? What difference does that make?
Uhh, maybe that they're different platforms and don't offer the same functionality? Brave mobile doesn't have extension support and BAT capabilities for one.
>First off, despite having no idea where your sourcing this issue
github.com/brave/brave-browser/issues/1431
>so why not use the most botnet striped options?

>can't even browse 4chin with Icecat
Literally what's the point

Attached: Screenshot_20190112_150653.png (958x875, 89K)

It doesn't work without Javascript.

4chin breaks when you enable "disable 3rd party tracker." Also LibreJS supposed to only break proprietary scripts

Use 4chanX.

Chrome is good enough

>how do you disable addons?

My only complaint about brave is when i try to search from google.com it always thinks i'm a bot and i have to complete a ton of captcha. If i just search from the url bar im good. Makes perfect sense.

>you have read the article, right?
Check the "Other Requests" section again.
>don't offer the same functionality
So? I guess my point was why should I feel any different about Brave mobile than its desktop counterpart if they're equal in botnets whereas Bromite is the same as Ungoogled-Chromium in botnets and IceCat mobile the same as IceCat desktop?
>github.com/brave/brave-browser/issues/1431
Fair, then.
>>Either way, Inox, Iridium or Ungoogled-chromium take months to get updated or don't even compile half of the time on Linux
Hey, if you care about updates and compile times that much, so be it. It's the whatever floats your boat meme at this point

>not using lightning
I stopped having brave installed when I found out that even if the app is killed it still opens up without warning in background and fetches and sends some encrypted data.

>he deals heroin on the weekends but I promise you can trust him, he's a great guy

kaspersky keeps uninstalling Brave for me

>tfw my spywares fight over my data

s-senpais.... you can both have me...

>Check the "Other Requests" section again.
Ignore that, I'm an actual baka. I meant "Auto-updates" section.
Smite me. Sorry for my idiocy
