Bash is a shell, an interpreted language that is typically used from the prompt.

Either flash straight from the mobo UEFI or boot to DOS.

I mindlessly tried to download KMPlayer from a third party website like a retard and halfway through Malwarebytes told me it blocked the website for a potential trojan despite the fact that the file was pretty much already done downloading. I ran a scan with malwarebytes and it detected no threats. Should I be worried and/or take more steps?

Damn. You see, the fact that it's 16 bit surely points out it's for DOS. There should be another file, .bin or .fw or .img, whatever, not .exe. Place it on a FAT32 flash and try to feed it to the mobo. I think the interface is called "live update 6". If it won't work, you're in for a ride because DOS isn't easy to find or install on a flash. There's an HP format tool, but it still requires DOS files before it could create a bootable DOS drive.
I see no problem with it except maybe low speed, DVD SATA may be 2.0 or 1.0.

do people who buy 18650 batteries just look at the capacity, or do they look at the max discharge current as well? there are some people who sell like 10A batteries cheap and they don't even advertise the 10A rating they just state the make and model and the capacity. it seems 15-20A+ ones are more popular with vaping enthusiasts at least. for something like a flashlight, would you pay a bit extra for the same or slightly lower capacity but with a higher max discharge current?

Hey guys I did a repaste of my laptop because it had some minor thermal throttling and it worked great for a while, brought temps under max load down 8c and eliminated the thermal throttling.

Last night I played subnautica about two hours and today when I ran it I noticed stuttering. I checked the intel xtu and noticed temps that were high and thermal throttling. The fps average was about 60 with dips to 48 and up to 100

I ran the benchmark and got the same score as I did before without thermal throttling (1008) but with a high temp of 96C

Did I fuck up the pasting, did it come off? Why are the temps back up? And why the hell is the benchmark the same?

Hi Jow Forums. What can I do to work from home to make money that is related to electronics hardware? I am very good with soldering, I can easily replace QFP packages. BGA I am not confident with though. So is there any devices I can mod or assemble for a profit? I was thinking of buying ThinkPads, installing CoreBoot or LibreBoot, and re-selling them. Anyone have any other ideas?

Basically, I am sick of my day job as a tech, it is killing me mentally and emotionally working under people who have literally never touched a soldering iron or read a service manual in their life, but somehow because they have formal training in fucking Excel they are qualified to manage technicians. Wouldn;t be bad if they would listen to the their techs, but they don't.

I have enough money saved up to live off of for about 6 months, and I can dip into that cash pool to buy the electronics I plan to resell for profit. Also, I have a full work lab at home with hot air station, power supplies, oscilloscopes, etc. I just need an idea of where the labor of working with electronics hardware is needed

Component level work skills are disappearing with the greybeards so it may eventually become a useful skill as we die off. There a a few workshops around now that specialise in component level repairs/mods to high value PCB's from things like aircons, medical imaging, telecommunications and avionics. Places like telco's no longer have staff that can solder let alone do component level work. Anything PC/Laptop/gaming/cellphone related is unlikely to be worth enough for component level repairs but high value items like I mentioned above will be worth it.
