Has anyone here used Clear Linux?

It's supposed to be minimalist and fast.

>xfce bloat
Void + twm uses 40MB. That thing right there is going over 250MB easily.

> all linux has CoC in its ass
no thanks.

why don't you try OpenBSD Linux. It's radical dude.

>xfce
>bloat

God, I remember a time before all you faggot kids had your faggot opinions.

I've been through distro hopping phase, dont get me wrong it was fun but now I just use ubuntu and get it over with

>Linux is dead, better use a meme server OS with no software and no drivers

i've heard that somewhere before

that Steam window makes me confident that I shouldn't use it

wow this os bothers me because i can install software on it

This

it's just CentOS but compiled with proprietary flag or compiler s that supposedly makes it have better performance. But benchmarks vary with this, CentOS takes lead, and Ubuntu sometimes takes lead because newer libraries, but at the end something well thought like Red Hat ends up being better.

I used to use OpenBSD but I need to run VMs and it was way too much effort on OpenBSD.

It hurts.

basically, yes

This one is shilled and made by Intel. It blasts all other Linux in every synthetic benchmark (on Phoronix).
I'm not saying it's a good distro, but comparing it to other neckbeard #45554 minimal distro is dumb and uneducated.
It will gain traction for sure in the future, it's pretty obvious if you are not clueless.

why does distro matter when i just run i3 and everything works the same

Since I'm running VMs I want a fast and efficient distro.

Xfce is dogshit at graphics rendering, compositor doesnt even work lmao, screen tears all over the place

Works on my machine.

You're not using it for eye candy when testing and wanting performance faggot

There's a beta graphical installer now. Once this distro gets easy to install I would expect the user base will get a lot larger very quickly. It would be (one of?) the first speed focused os's backed by a professional company.

I'd unironically install temple if I was looking for a "lightweight" OS

if they can resist the urge to add massive amounts of spyware, this could be a great distro.

>screen tears
Maybe you should click on a check box or two.

Unfortunately we live in a post system d world, so this isn't happening.

Is clear linux based? Should it be my daily driver?

Hopefully other distros will just steal the code that makes Clear Linux fast.

It's made by Intel, so its probably not based. It's supposed to be fast though. It might result in more games having Linux support.

>bloattards pretend any feature you don't make use of is bloat
>they don't use LFS to ensure their distro has no extraneous components whatsoever

Poser fucks

Minimalfags were always a thing, posting their riced i3s and dwms setups
