Hey user, that "free software" you use sounds cool. But when you say that it can't be used to track you, how can you be sure of that? Do you fully understand how the computer works, so you're able to check it all out and make sure it isn't? That sounds really complicated, like you'd need to be an expert.
I don't really know how my Macbook works, but I know that if Apple was really looking at my stuff (stealing pics of my girlfriend or something) and they got found out, they would be in deep trouble.
Besides, I have nothing to hide, I really just use the MacBook for messaging mates and my girlfriend, as well as some work stuff. What do you do on your computer that you don't want them to find out about?
Pass us the sunscreen while you're at it. And take your rash shirt off! You'll never get a tan with that thing on.
Sounds like a good and polite normie I would be his friend

I dunno dude, free software makes me feel safer because I get to look at the source code myself if I wanted to, and if there was anything shady, I'm sure someone in the tight-knit FOSS community would let me know about it!
And as a person who uses their computer every day for professional reasons, I want it to be exactly how I like it and I want to feel safe while I use it, kinda like how a racer would fine-tune their car, yknow bro?
I had a dream last night I was at a beach hiding inside and looking out at the beautiful normies having fun.

First of all, OP is faggot for misusing the Chad meme to make corporate propaganda
>but I know that if Apple was really looking at my stuff (stealing pics of my girlfriend or something) and they got found out, they would be in deep trouble.
Except that this already happened you fucking imbecile. PRISM is a thing and everyone who is not tech illiterate knows that all these big companies like Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, Google cooperate with NSA by placing backdoors in their products among other things.
But that doesn't stop the average consumer from still buying iphones, so go fuck yourself, faglord.

The privacy is nice but working on void is more productive for me than osx.
Bro, the thing is, Apple would never really pay for a privacy breach. Think about Equifax, these companies can get away with murder and they know it. Apple will save a buck at your expense whenever they can, and they'll tell you it's a new feature, like coming pre bent from the factory is a good thing, or being able to log in your computer without a password isn't a big deal. Every new product, they're pissing on you and calling it rain, and you trust them with your gf's pics? Nah bro. That's messed up. I know my software works and is secure because it's the only stuff Google and Amazon trust to run all their servers on. Linux has thousands of privacy dedicated engineers looking at it, all in the open. When a problem is found, it's fixed in a day. I'll trust that over Apple's policy of pretending there isn't a problem until it really blows up.
