Post your cpu history
For me its
>Some shitty A6
>i5 3340
>i3-4130T in a steam machine
>i5 6400

My most fond memories were with the i3-4130T could do everything i wanted with seemingly less stutter than the 6400.

first some shitty intel laptop CPU
then an AMD Phenom II 1090T
now (actual) Ryzen 7 1800x (waiting to upgrade)

Laptops

>P3 1ghz Dell c610
>Sore sort of Lenovo Ideapad with mobile Athlon 64
>Thinkpad E545 with A10 5750 apu
>Dell E6520 i7 2630qm maxed out

I also have a Latitude D630, Thinkpad T30 and another C610 for the racecar I'm building, muh serial ports.

I had a few computers before I first built one, but I don't remember what the CPUs were. I know I had a Pentium 3 at one point, but that's all I remember prior to my AMD Athlon 64 3200+.

I went:
>Athlon 64 3200+
>Athlon X2 4200+
>Athlon X4 640
>i5 4690k
>i7 4790k
>Threadripper 2950x

Bought lots of second hand PC's from 1995 to 2005, so multiple 286's, 486's, and lots of Pentiums 1 to 4. Then some Athlon X2, a Core 2 Duo E8400, Athlon X4, Core i3, and now a Core i7 Haswell. Next will be a Zen 2.

why does it matter and why does anyone care

then like a p3 500 or something
and then an athlon 1800+ i think
it gets hazy after that maybe a 2400 athlon
then I got a Q9450 i think
then i stopped buying pcs and do it through company so have lotsa stuff i can't even remember now, maybe a i7-7700k i dont event know the cpu numbers anymore
