Look at the web on a far bigger and better screen, use it all day without recharging, play games that are not shit, hold 100+gb of shit on it. Better reception. Literally thousands of apps that would not run on a phone 10 years old. Take pics that are as good as many full size cameras. Use the sensors as levels and measuring tools that would not have been possible before
we are approaching peak phone and a $300 phone is almost as good at a $900 phone but a 2009 phone is not even in the same league as a modern phone.
A high end phone should last you 5 years now
