what went wrong?

Apologize

Coffee lake is 4.0 base you fucking eurotard

that depends on the cpu you fucking cunt
i wanted to show you how stupid OP is, but you're even dumber

ark.intel.com/products/codename/97787/Coffee-Lake
There are only 3 coffee lake processors with 4.0 base and 2 of them are i3s.

>105W 16-core Ryzen 9
why is this bad?

>The Demo Zen 2 CPU Is A Stepping B (later revision, Quality Sample) Ryzen 5, 8core/16 threads, 65W TDP, at 3.7base clock , AM4 socket, hitting 4.5ghz

based and checked

Based adoredtv

Nothing
I can't fucking wait

In what universe is that supposed to be bad?
The new i5 9400 has a base clock of 2.9 and a turbo of 4.1

It's funny how HU is now "loving" comments on their videos that are shifting goal posts for them.
Tim said those leaks are too good to be true. He'll be wrong yet.

Samefag

i3 isn't top of the line cpu. the amd one is
tim was right. the leaks were fake.

>tim was right. the leaks were fake.
You don't know that. We're both guessing here.
I'm just guessing they'll be true come May.

Attached: 1544314957980.jpg (568x612, 66K)

but can easily do 5.2ghz while amd is still stuck on 4ghz

But we do know.
>No chiplet apu variant
That means the 3300G and 3500G are non existant.
>Same TDPs
That means no 125/135W CPUs, the R9 are non existant.

It's time to accept reality, the scottish NEET tricked you all.

>3.7Ghz
>65W
whats wrong with that, little Timmy?

>managed to beat a 9900k at lower clocks and power draw
If the clock speed is true I still don't see the problem.

>still ca't reach 5ghz

so is this the power of indian engineering? based intel, so far ahead.

>amd is still stuck on 4ghz
At least you really hope that's true.
What will you have to come up with when it turns out they're not I wonder.

I'm fucking done bros Adoredtv promised us 5GHz ... and we get same speeds as current zen? Fuck this shit ....

Based Jim BTFOing the entire tech industry
How can one man be so based

>easily do 5.2ghz

Attached: 1540813355643.jpg (626x717, 34K)

AMD just stock cooled the intel one.

BECAUSE YOU SHOULD BUY INTEEEEEEEL

Attached: 1492855909643.png (1228x1502, 944K)

>Basically tied with a 9900k in a bench that favours AMD cpus.
>Not even close to the 5GHz the scottish NEET said.
It's still going to get trashed in real life applications. No amount of extra cores will help with Ryzen's garbage IPC. At least they will be a nice option for poorfags I guess, but after seeing them charge $700 for a card to "compete" with a 2 years old Nvidia card, I'm not so sure about the cheap part ...

Attached: 1489607623535.jpg (584x720, 209K)

NOOOOOOOOOOO

Attached: 1491835275725.png (882x758, 234K)

>IPC=clocks
only with Incels

>still cant beat intel's 14nm++++++++++
the absolute STATE of ayymd

>9900k
>stock cooled
It doesn't even come with a cooler so there is no stock.

SIRS PLESE BUY AND DELID INTEL NEED MORE RUPEES FOR EXTRA POO FOR JOO

Attached: 1503848584264.jpg (1000x1000, 253K)

But you're basing that on the fact that nothing like that was revealed. I'm fully ready for Adored to be wrong, I just can't prove these things aren't going to exist, and neither can you.
In my opinion there's still plenty of room for him to be right. Especially since Su already said there will absolutely be parts with more than 8 cores. I can't think they too will be 65W TDP.

NOOOOOO INTELBROS

He's just scamming poor drones

shut up goy and buy intel

Are you retarded? Look at the OP image, that's straight from AMD.

jim internet defense task force will know about this

who needs coolers anyway

>Testing performed AMD CES 2019 Keynote. In Cinebench R15 nT, the 3rd Gen AMD Ryzen Desktop engineering sample processor achieved a score of 2057, better than the Intel Core i9-9900K score of 2040. During testing, system wall power was measured at 134W for the AMD system and 191W for the Intel system; for a difference of (191-134)/191=.298 or 30% lower power consumption.

>System configurations: AMD engineering sample silicon, Noctua NH-D15S thermal solution, AMD reference motherboard, 16GB (2x8) DDR4-2666 MHz memory, 512GB Samsung 850 PRO SSD, AMD Radeon RX Vega 64 GPU, graphics driver 18.30.19.01 (Adrenalin 18.9.3), Microsoft Windows 10 Pro (1809); Intel i909900K, Noctua NH-D15S thermal solution, Gigabyte Z390 Aorus, 16GB (2x8) DDR4-2666 MHz memory, 512GB Samsung 850 PRO SSD, AMD Radeon RX Vega 64 GPU, graphics driver 18.30.19.01 (Adrenalin 18.9.3), Microsoft Windows 10 Pro (1809).

The mental gymnastics of Intel shills get more confusing by the day.

The same TDPs as previous parts.
Isn't a 2700X at least over 100W TDP?
You're silly if you think that graphic means all the 7nm parts will have the same TDP

Attached: 1279936563879.jpg (305x239, 10K)

Funny thing about this test, my 2700x with a D15 goes over 1900 in cinebench and if I really mess about with settings I can get near 2000. This is with good ram timings and PBO on.

buy intel

lel

3200G and 3400G weren't going to be based on zen2 anyways, just like 2200g and 2400g weren't based on zen+, they're always one architecture behind

performance doesn't matter

Surprised they went with 2666 over 3200 with how infinity fabric scales. They lost some performance for their own chip with that.

T-They will come with a new socket AM4+ t-to support the R9 .... j -just wait and see ... I trust Jim and his sources ...

The question is then what clocks can AMD get 16 cores to, while still calling it "the same TDP"

Attached: thereweare.png (1779x923, 1.02M)

>3.7GHz base
>rapes Intel's 4.7GHz CPU while using less power
I don't think something went 'wrong' if AMD is performing better despite the clock disadvantage.

>Surprised they went with 2666 over 3200 with how infinity fabric scales. They lost some performance for their own chip with that.

Attached: 1506977173618.jpg (882x758, 324K)

There won't be 16 cores cpu. Only 12.

performance doesn't matter power consumption doesn't matter

Attached: 1491958654249.png (653x726, 84K)

He literally said there would be specific models announced at CES including the 12 and 16 cores and Navi too. He was wrong about eveything

nice

>Funny thing about this test, my 2700x with a D15 goes over 1900 in cinebench and if I really mess about with settings I can get near 2000. This is with good ram timings and PBO on.
please delid

Or rather than a new socket, will the R9 require a specific chipset where AMD demands the motherboard makers put a stronger power infrastructure on there

Attached: noidea.jpg (500x338, 130K)

boy oh boy, jim is absolutely ass blasted over being so easily baited into believing literal lies, lmao

AMD fags just be real with yourself, intel will still have the greater OC potential, and an OC'd intel will still be top of the line consumer CPU. Look at it this way, if you were to benchmark an GPU suite, which CPU would you use. You would of course use the strongest one, which would be an OC'd 9900k.

Problem is it won because Ryzen has superior SMT that gets like 40% higher MT performance vs 30% higher for Intel's HT. Meaning single threaded performance at the same clocks will be like 13% lower for ryzen

Why would I delid my 2700x? Even on those stress tests it never goes over 72. Gaming it stays late 50's rare spikes into 60's.

same TDP @ the same model level nerd. The 3850x isn't a direct replacement for any existing CPU.

Right ok. 12 cores at 105W TDP if 8 has 65W
I wish their TDP math wasn't such bogus, so you could actually calculate a little.

Attached: derp.png (689x479, 544K)

Yeah but if that's true then the line in OP's image is a little too cute.
But I guess that's what I was poking at in Picture unrelated

Attached: 1500045143114.png (919x407, 296K)

love seeing all the amd pajeets cope in this itt

Attached: poozen.png (854x640, 645K)

That's clearly Adored being an ass. The individual SKUs can easily exist even if AMD is blueballing us.
Adored can be right so far as "the parts are pretty much decided on, and thus ready to be revealed." But how the fuck could he know what AMD decides to put in their keynote.

Attached: 1489411217538.jpg (800x1143, 133K)

I am enjoying the Intel panic.

Clock for clock, IPC for IPC, it's equal again. Only this time AMD can double the cores and threads and charge half.

Intels response is going to have to be something amazing in two years.

Most X470 boards could handle that 135w chip provided you're running it stock

10nm!

Yes yes yes, wery good, wery wery good!

Attached: images.jpg (266x190, 7K)

>no proof
I wonder how many of these hypefags are just falseflagging Intel shils/fanboys.

>Clock for clock, IPC for IPC, it's equal again.
No it's not lmao. If it were, they would have run the single thread cinebench instead of the multithread one. AMD is still behind in IPC by at least 10% AND still cant clock close to 5GHz

>AMD 4.5 = to Intel 5.0
Problem?

10nm superpower 2020 sirs yes

Attached: 1536694146733.png (1200x800, 164K)

sir .... delete this pleas

Oh look, manufacturing percentages from your ass hole, as well as clock speeds. Fantastic. Thanks Adored.

IT'S NOT FAIR

Attached: 1525362785884.png (552x661, 288K)

Sounds likely. However to me those ifs and buts mean AMD can't just start selling R9 chips without letting people know.

Attached: mb.jpg (473x839, 181K)

i still buy intel products simply because they're blue

Attached: 1502378315806.gif (600x600, 127K)

>10%
First gen Ryzen wasn't that far behind in IPC. Stop talking out of your ass.

nooooo but it was our turn brooosss! We can't let intel win again
