Even Google failed to create a facebook alternative so it's not exactly shameful to fail that task.

One of my white male coworkers legitimately said the criteria for the next hire should be that they're not a white male and nobody on the hiring staff expressed disagreement with this.
He still works here, and the last 4+ hires have been black women.
It's legitimately this bad in some places. Genuinely suggesting that we hire based on race and sex. Legitimate racism is acceptable in my workplace.
